To understand irony, you need only look at your incorrect definition of that word, for it precisely exhibited irony. The word "irony" is where the opposite of what is expected occurs. For instance, it would be ironic if a person who devotes his life to fighting crime is arrested for committing a criminal act. Your incorrect definition of "ironical" was ironic because you authoritatively defined it, which would lead people to believe you knew the word's meaning; surprisingly, you don't. Incidentally, you also misused the word "it's" in your previous reply.
