I have loved the emotional health series you’ve done. I’ve been struggling for so long with emotional issues and recently I’ve felt God saying it’s time to deal with stuff that’s been brewing for decades. I’ve also been going through Craig Groeschel’s book Winning the War in Your Mind. It goes along perfectly with what you discussed about finding the root and how we get comfortable in ruts. I would love anything more you or your selected guests have to say on the topic! Thank you for all you do!

This was great to come across this week. Such valuable conversations about emotions which I rarely have in my world. I think I'm going to go back and watch the previous conversations too.

I have loved all of these. It seems like in this time everyone is talking about mental illness or angry at someone or something. I hope you will do more podcast on this subject. I have been sharing this in hopes that it would be helpful to my friends and family.

Thank you Havilah for an insightful, encouraging series on emotional health. This was the year the Lord started to show me that I had an unhealthy perspective on my emotions and that I needed to practice processing them with Holy Spirit rather than living in denial & forcing them to instantly change. Since I got saved (14 years ago) I've viewed my emotions as a nuisance rather than a gift. Not pointing the finger at anyone but somehow I learnt this at church and associated my emotions as ALWAYS being tied to my evil, sinful flesh. My only question is how do we incorporate this with spiritual warfare? Specifically, this verse come to my mind: 2 Corinthians 10:5-6 ESV We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete. I always read that as we need to instanty punish ourselves if we feel OR think wrong thoughts. Now i'm realising it's more about bringing every thought & feeling to Jesus and having a conversation with Him about it so that we can receive true healing rather than a quick-fix religious bandaid. You've already provided us with plenty of material to pray about for now so thank you I'm very grateful! 😃♥♥♥

This phrase I learnt later in life in her high school years. My faith in Go.d is my confidence. But I had to trust! I made commitment and prayed often especially when anything triggred off in my emotions. Even now there is a spirit that wants me to regret having her..I the attacks on my life and hers has been fromnthe womb. I wish I more insight. Mary the Mother of Yeshua
