I’m so sorry, sweet girl there is no cookie cutter way to grieve. Please give yourself some grace. It took me five years to start feeling normal after my Tommy died. It is going to be 10 years in December. We met in high school at 15, graduated together, knew the same people. He was sick for nine years after a massive stroke. The Lord was with me the whole time🙏 never dropped me. You have to grieve in your own way and your own time.❤ I love you, sweet girl. May God’s grace be bountiful and may He wrap His loving arms around you and your family. Please tell your mom I am so sorry for her loss.

hello, ryan just want to share that i feel your pain. as a military wife and a military mom i understand how important family is. made many moves as lived overseas, too. but when my second oldest was critically injured in afghanistan. myself and my special “unique” daughter were with my son for a year during his many hospitalizations. when he was sent back to his duty station to begin the process of being med boarded we made the decision to uproot and move to be closer to my son. my family and i live in north carolina now. no regrets as family is the heartbeat of living along with our faith in God. my youngest son also is in the military as he has a few tours served too. he and his family are 18 hours away, but close in heart. stay strong and thank you for the service of your husband and your family.

Aww Ryan! I literally started crying when you spoke about the passing of your dad. I am so very sorry for your loss. From one daddy’s girl to another, I cannot fathom the pain you must feel. I'm sorry I know exactly what you are going through my daddy passed january 20 2023 and it is the hardest thing I'd cry at random times.. I know I will never fully heal but I do know my dad's not suffering anymore... the hardest is I lived so far most of my adult life I moved closer to him about 6mo before he got really sick my kids didn't know him as good as they should that's the hardest thing for me
