Marriage is a big deal to them, and every family member has a say in your choice of partner. They feel their blood shouldn't be diluted. In all these, her father did what a true man of God must do, and I salute him. Most Ghanaians were even surprised, so this video makes a lot of sense.

I encountered the same situation when l was in college n met a Nigerian guy who was crazily in love with me n waited to marry n turned him down because l was scared 😮to let my dad know n didn't even know how to even start a conversation with him about the guy n therefore had to turn down the guy n never summoned the courage to let him know. I regretted it later but was too late to go back. I believe things have changed drastically. My baby sister is married to a Nigerian n living happily after.
