I used to have an elder brother, he die when i was 14 years old and it's been 8 years. What about a brother who was brought into this world and after 2 hours he dies.And then in the morning you have to carry him to the graveyard and later on lie in the face of your mother that he is alive and well.This guilt i am carrying still haunts me everyday.

Sorry to be a jack-arse, but as I was reading your post I laughed a little bit because I was thinking about "what is love? Baby don't hurt me." But in all seriousness I'm sorry for your loss. All I can say is that, if you carry on his will and remember and love him, he still lives on in you as a part of you. There's a famous quote, I think it may actually be from Naruto, which says "you don't really die when your heart stops. You die when you're forgotten." I'm sure your brother is looking at you proudly from above and will always watch over you.

There's nothing I can say to make you feel better, but I hope time will alleviate your pain or at least make you feel less guilty. At the end of the day, no one will ever think that you ought to feel guilty. At least I myself wish to tell you that you don't have to carry that burden. Life is a lot more fragile than we all know, and I am positive that your life won't be full of sad events. There will be happy occasions along the way. My grandmother who passed away in 2017 at the age of 89 actually went through the same tribulation, losing 2 kids during the Korean war (1940s) because of malnutrition and severe bacterial infection. One of them died at the age of 4 and the other died a few days after being born. Not as bad as your loss, but times were rough. She ended up having 5 kids who survived in result, out of whom the youngest child is my mom. My grandma also lost her oldest son at the age of 33-34 who drove a truck whose brakes weren't working, and the factory where he used to work at never revealed who the real culprit was. My grandmother was strong and as laid back as anyone else you would meet, but she was hurt for the rest of her life, and her 3rd loss affected her greatly all the more because of the unjust treatment that my uncle received. Therefore I can relate to you to a minimal degree, and I can assure you that you can bounce back, even though that pain will never go away. God bless you every day. ❤🙏

my favourite soundtrack in all of anime, and my favourite character in all of anime, the legendary Itachi Uchiha, a beautiful character, the real hokage, perfection in a person, sacrificed everything for his younger brother, whom he loves more than anything. And his love when unconditionally is shown in this scene along with this soundtrack makes me cry every single time. A man that was and always will be one of the most powerful uchiha to ever live sacrificed everything he achieved. Including his bond with his little brother just to protect him. Then to stand on the sidelines and make sure no one caused harm to him for years to come until finally his final duel that he would have, would ultimately be his own little brother. The pain of dying with a smile on his face to the one person he swore to protect at all costs... I couldn’t even imagine the pain. You can’t tell me that this is just another show. If Itachi had two people to spare, it would have been Sasuke and Izumi, because his parents accepted their fate, so in that timeline, Itachi wouldn’t join the Akatsuki and keep the truth away from Sasuke, and explain that their father almost caused a civil war in the village.

Sasuke "threatened" Itachi that even though he saved the village this time, Sasuke would destroy it eventually. I know that most fans hated him for that. But i never hated him. He was desperately trying to coax a reaction or an emotion out of his brother. He wanted Itachi to stay a little longer. Itachi reassuring him of his unconditional love for him helped him change...

The Third failed Itachi. He should have come out with the truth the very next day after Itachi killed his clan. Itachi should never have left Konoha. It takes a lot of power for one to fight so many, but it takes even more power to create a path back to peace. The Ninja world did not have anyone powerful enough to bring back peace, at least, not until Naruto. Too bad it was already too late for Itachi.
