Don't worry Sirs us in the fandom would always cry in that last part of the music video. Knowing also that the band-ONE OK ROCK used to have encountered many racism too when they're starting their career in the US makes this even more emotional. I would also recommend the live version of this with the orchestra, the video could be found on their official KZbin channel.

One OK Rock is amazing live and they believe their MV are commercials for their live versions. I recommend "We Are" and "Take What You Want" Ambitions tour Tokyo Dome versions. These 2 hit the feels so hard and made me a lifelong fan!

ONE OK ROCK is probably the only band that actually sounds better live than in the studio. You have to check out their most popular song "The Beginning" live at Yokohama stadium Mighty Long Fall tour. It was in the the live action Rurouni Kenshin movie and helped them break out of Japan. Their music actually sounds more like The Beginning than the two you've checked out so far.

This song was the one pulled me into become an OORer. I feel the meaning in Stand out fit in so much, the last part when the mother smiled to the boy i broke down like it's so freaking beautiful. When you're lost in your way, if you look back there would still be somewhere you belong to

That dance segment reminded me of the movie Billy Elliot about a 11 year old boy who loves ballet but is forced to be a boxer by his Dad. But when he finally stands up to Dad and shows how talented he is changes his Dad's opinion of dance so beautiful and touching.

The part of me that wants to overanalyze everthing absolutely loves the last few scenes. My interpretation is a little different though. Our protagonist, now highschool(?) Age, fit in and found a friend group. While they may be good friends, they make bad choices. Those choices being shown in the drinking and driving, and the inevitable crash. The protagonist getting out of the wreckage, seeing that figure dancing, getting up and breaking out in dance feels like that right there was the exact moment our protagonist had his wakeup call. Then he's remembering his childhood and saw his mother, realizing he messed up. Absolutely beautiful.

There is another message if you listen to the song. He had lines that Asian parents might say to their kids, eat out stay thin. He also had a fraught relationship with his parents. I'm guessing the red figure is a specific cultural reference.
