My dad passed away in 2020, I was addicted to Oxys and heroin and used other drugs a lot too. I got on methadone and have been clean (from illicit drugs) for about 9 months now, I'm starting to think about reducing my methadone but I'm scared, been physically dependant to opiates for a long time. Juice WRLD was a very different artist than anyone we have seen before. Everything he said was straight from his mind cause he freestyled his music, he did not write. He could freestyle a hit song in 5 minutes, had a great voice, and really connected with our generations. Burn by Juice is great, tells his story regarding his relationship with drugs which ultimately killed him like he thought they would. Face 2 face is one of my current favorites, its quite short but has great lyrics and video. Theres dozens i could list that are just as good, and hundreds of other good ones, but yall should check them out, those songs are little easier to follow in terms of story.

i hear where the sage in the middle is coming from, and i respect her words of wisdom because the industry has it's own vices and "virtues". but, at the same time until you learn more about the artist you can't solely pin it on the higher ups. juice had a lot going on in multiple ways, and chose to share it with us in ways no one could have even predicted. he wanted to help because he knew he wasn't going to be here for long due to his vices. i know this is can be seen as me being an ass in the way it's presented but i mean well and i hope you as well as everyone is well and at least making it through the week. 999

His name is Jarrod Higgins. And sadly he left us in December 2019. He was an incredible human. An incredible artist. He will forever define this generation with his influence and sound. He passed away of a seizure at the airport after landing. Casued from percocet and lean usage. Thanks for ur reaction ❤

A comment about what you said at 4:43 I agree that hollywood and the music industry, specifically rap, will try to get artists to promote drugs(because that’s heavy right now with the youth) except, he was doing pills and lean wayyy before he even started putting out music. He said in an interview that he started drinking lean(codeine and promethazine mixed into a drink) when he was 13. He started off with Xanax for pills but stopped liking it after he was introduced to percocet’s. Unfortunately though, as good as his music is it introduced him to the fame life in such a short span and with a generations worth of money rolling in and not knowing how to handle the fame followed by a really bad drug addiction, you can see where that leads to unfortunately. If you do react to more of his music you may find that a good amount of his released music is the sad type and that’s because that’s what his label wanted him to mainly put out to the public because, and to be honest, sad music was his best form because he was so good at articulating his feelings. He has other music that isn’t sad that is also good, but there’s only a handful of his released songs not being sad. If you really want to find his best work you would need to check out his unreleased. So many gems that could clear any song he has released. If you’d rather only react to his released music I can send y’all a few suggestions. May he Rest In Peace 999

Juice WRLD never promoted drugs, all he did was talk about his life and struggles with mental health & addiction. Like for example whenever he talked about his struggle with drugs, he never promoted it and instead he let you know the good & the bad that felt from using these drugs and always put out a message of telling people to not use drugs. He freestyled all his songs by the way. He didn’t write any songs.

Juice was actually dead since 2019 but for the people who didn’t know he went by juice the kid on SoundCloud in 2010 and he also was dealing with anxiety and depression since he was a kid he had adhd and no one wanted to get him help he end up dead because he took pills on a plane flying back to his home town in Chicago and he end up dead because the pilot said they the cops were at the airport waiting for them to get off the plane he took like 30 pills or more and killed Him self because he had a seizure
