I had the album of this concert but didn't know there was video. An outstanding song, probably the best of Duckie Simpson's compositions. They didn't do this tune the two times I saw Black Uhuru with Michael Rose fronting. Very edifying to see and hear it all these years later. The vocals are heart-wrenching and every player in the band is from the top echelon of Jamaican musicians (even without Sly and Robbie).

Yes, the video and album were supposed to be released at the same time as a package. One of the frustrations of my life that the investor jumped the gun and pulled the masters from the video studio, before I'd even cut the final mixed track onto them (you're not hearing the final mix here). Reggae runnins! Still a fantastic show and a pretty good live mix.

this is the Black Uhuru song that i put onto a mix tape back in the 90s. it is the song that brought me into the visible aspects of this group. i looked up the song and found all of these awesome videos featuring an awesome singer, Puma Jones. though Michael Rose and Sly and Robbie are sadly missed. this line-up is an amazing representation of the music, the dance and the passion of Black Uhuru. she is unmistakingly the coolest vocalist i have ever heard.
