I couldn't sleep all night. Something kept me awake, it was 2 hours before Fajr and something was telling me to pray Fajr and ask for forgiveness. I did that and cried my eyes out asking for guidance for forgiveness as I am going through very dark path in my life, always thinking Allah is upset with me and won't forgive me. Then this video shows up and literally puts me in unstoppable tears. May Allah guide us the same way as he did to Ahmed and forgive our sins and grant us all jannah. Inshallah I will make it a habit to pray more prayers. This to me was a sign I needed. Will keep all the ummah in my prayers as well for Allah to Guide us all and share this beautiful story.

This is absolutely true. I was once very near to Allah but due to tests in life I became lost and at my furthest point away from Allah I remember laying in bed about to go to sleep and due to a mere ember in my heart I made a simple request to Allah "do not let go of my rope to you for I have not let go". Since that singularity he has rushed to me with increasing speed and I've only progressively come closer and closer to him and further away from sin incrementally.

I am suprised I shed some tears and made dua after the video. The thing is I used to be in your state where when I see something heart stoping I couldn’t even shed a drop of tears . The way to do so is by doing a lot of good deeds and staying from bad deeds . A heart which is a rock which sins a lot can’t feel eman sometimes but a heart which does a lot of good things and stays from bad sins then eventually it will . May Allah make it easy for us. I’ve only been a revert to Islam for a few months. Lately I’ve been struggling. So badly. This made me break down in tears… this man’s story, I hope, is an inspiration to all other Muslims who are struggling in their faith. As I was listening to this speech month back I thought to myself didn’t this young man had hope in the mercy of Allah. Allah is the most merciful and the most forgiving. And then a day came when shaithan made me do a sin not similar but something that Allah wouldn’t like (I would not love to expose my sin here). This sin made me feel devastated and made me feel that Allah would hate me for it. I would cry most of the days in sujood asking for forgiveness and yet not believe to myself that Allah has forgave me the first time I asked for repentance. Thats when a very close person of mine told me about Allah does not accept the worship of a sinner and set me a video regarding the same. I felt lost, hopeless (Asthagfirullah) and cried to Allah again and again. I felt so broken and depressed. I use to fear that I wouldn’t be able to meet Allah with love if he hated me. Shaithan whispered every word of hopelessness in me. But with time Allah healed me with Quran. When I thought Allah left me, I read this ayath of Quran مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ ٣ : Your Lord ˹O Prophet˺ has not abandoned you, nor has He become hateful ˹of you˺ 93:3. And then I read قَالَ لَا تَخَافَآ ۖ إِنَّنِى مَعَكُمَآ أَسْمَعُ وَأَرَىٰ ٤٦ He said, “Be not afraid; I am indeed with youdl , hearing and seeing. It was enough for me. I realized how shaithan whispered to me that Allah wouldn’t forgave me. How I fell for this trap. It still brings fear in me. But then I tell to myself isn’t the mercy of Allah bigger than my sin. Then I understood the feelings of this young man. When you love your rabb so much so intense you will want to please him and meet with him. My love my dear people, no matter what mistake your loved ones do, never stop or even tell them that Allah would stop loving and forgiving them. Spread words of hope.

For those who couldn’t shed tears there’s nothing wrong in it. There’s no need to take such gesture in a negative way. Sometimes we doubt ourselves that are we even worthy of forgiveness even if we shed tears. Heart gets as heavy as the weight of this entire universe but tears won’t come out, why? Because we need to reflect on sins we done but Allah chose to conceal them, Allah still chose to keep you alive and gave chances after chances because Allah still believed his salve will change and be on right path. Reflect on these things brothers and sisters. That how merciful Allah is. Surely tears flow and Allah will forgive us, all the believers who bought eman before them. May Allah guide us all. Ameen.
