Loctite is your Friend. Red or blue. • RED ... High Temperature bolts & screws. • BLUE ... General Purpose. • Threadlocker 222 for screw & bolt that vibrate. • Theadlocker 271 for permanent jobs.
@yogadude1234 Жыл бұрын
ya definitely - I don't generally use it on my vehicles because I check everything regularly but for most people they should Loctite most parts.

Great vid man. Just preordered one using your code. I know it’s a small bike but do you think two people can fit on it if I add extra pegs?

awesome, thank you for using my coat! I don't think it's really good for two people. It's relatively small.

I recommend civilians use Loctite but as a pro I check anything that can move every 25-50 miles so I do you don't really need to - but overall yeah people should use Loctite

For your own safety please purchase a rear view mirror. I would hate for you to me injured again. I think it is a much lower stance so motorist may not see you as they do on a scooter

I think it would be nice if Voro included a torque specification guide with every PEV they sell. That way we could tighten each screw to the perfect torque specification and check each screw every 100 or so miles with confidence. Torque wrenches are worth the investment, just gives you peace of mind knowing every screw is perfectly tightened
@yogadude1234 Жыл бұрын
I have yet to see a scooter shop where the mechanics actually use a torque wrench. Only person I know that uses one is my mechanic Ryan. Most likely he will eventually have this vehicle in his hands and he will let me know all the torque values. Last time I was at his place he was actually showing me his method of how to figure out the torque value of each screw.

how many miles can i get from this if i rode it in a straight line at 20 mph on flat, paved ground with no stopping at all? Would it exceed 50 miles you think?

Real world range? Voro says 50, what have you gotten?
@yogadude1234 Жыл бұрын
25 miles at 35 mph avg speed - when you read a manufacturer range estimate you'll have to assume it's in the lowest possible mode. You could probably get 50 miles in first mode. but you're not gonna ride in first mode on this.

@@juanochoa5970 yeah, manufacturer estimates for electric scooters and range are often 2x reality unfortunately - you could probably get 40 miles if you drive it in second gear but most people will not I drive it this slow
