I'm from the Minneapolis area and the potholes are also fierce. 🤣 Great review thanks! I'm leaning toward this model for some fun in the summer. Flat and paved trails. Need something more portable than my e-bike which takes me longer to load/unload than to ride. Stay safe. 👍

I have 5 scooters but where I live riding on the sidewalk is illegal. The emove touring is nice but I want the varla pegasus because I live in the city and don't want flats / need solid tires. The max is great if you put suspension and solid tires on it

before u order a pegasus really look into vsett and alienrides/revrides warrantys on them... and then compare it to varla service. really dude get a 9+ Vsett if u want a varla IMO anyway idk i was too going to get a pegasus but then idiscovered other rbands and warrantys through other companys. also look into the brand Armor Dilloz stire sealtyent. its used in the military and shit. Alienrides sells their own version but armor dilloz makes it, its called liek alien blood its like 30$. seriously look itno Vsett scoots

This law (Int 0663-2022) requires all electric bicycles sold in the city to be certified to UL 2849, all electric scooters to be certified to UL 2272, and all lithium-ion batteries for mobility devices to be certified to UL 2271. Violators of the law may be subject to a civil penalty of up to $1,000 per violation.”Jul 3, 2023

Xiaomi has introduced a new brand called Navee that is UL certified. Stay tuned I am reviewing the V50 and S65 right now, will have content up over the coming weeks on them. UL cert. only will matter in NYC and highly regulated places right now. Where most people live, that law doesn't apply...yet. It does seem inevitable to have stricter quality standards though, and I think most of us will happily embrace better engineered scooters that will come from further laws like this. Thanks for sharing, will include info about this in my Navee reviews.

How easy is to swappable batteries for extended ride?

Love the review, I'm buying one of these this week, but I don't think it's an entry level scooter, my 7 year old daughter, can NOT use this as an entry level, she'd be head over the bars in a heartbeat. Even a gotrax apex at 15.5mph takes a new rider a second to control. I'd say it's more of an intermediate, cause the next level is where you get into the 30-40+ mph range and all the bells and whistles. That's a higher expert level I'd say. I agree and I'm not being rude, I just wouldn't want someone that's never rode before, getting this and realizing it's too much for a beginner entry level. Amazing review tho! Long ride for us to hear/see alot and you talked about everything, this helped me make my choice 🤘🙏
