I wonder if comments like these make a difference or not on videos like these? These are their personalities, goofing off, messing up, yelling, to say "you guys were trying too hard" I think is incorrect. They aren't trying hard, they didn't rehearse to get the funniest outcome, they didn't plan the video's content, which I'd consider trying hard to be entertaining. Here they're just being themselves and having fun. It's not like they have a timer and say "okay I'll make this joke for five minutes and we will stop being funny to completely the mission afterwards. See you at the water cooler." With moments like these, just roll with the punches, as pointing this stuff out isn't like pointing out a mistake in a script they can fix or a mistake in an animation they can perfect. It's just their personalities and humor style.
