Usually these dramatizations are pretty horribly acted but the guys performance here is really good my heart breaks for him.

The man at 10:32 describes problems and emotional pain that are very similar to what I went through during a period many years ago. I not only recognize what he is saying, I see myself in much of him. I empathize with this man and want to tell this he -- even thought he is only a portrayal -- that people do care and that I know he can reach a better point and feel okay. Of course, as the narrator says, it's more important to simply listen to a person in his situation.

I feel like they should show this to recruits and decide who to keep (I haven't even watched it yet) but I know sociopaths can't help but show themselves whenever empathy is brought up. It's like a cross to vampires, they'll scream and moan.

The world has become a much more violent place. Not defending cops 100% of the time but if I was a cop I would definitely have my guard up a lot more than back in those days. We had one of our cops just shot up here in Canada as he was trying to get coffee at a coffee shop.
