They need to make a "Dune 5" game. Make House Atreides, House Harkonnen, House Ordos, and... for added fun... House Corrino battle for Arrakis. Subhouses could be: Fremen Smugglers (Replacing the Sardaukar, which would now be Corrino infantry) Ixians Tlielaxu Ginaz Swordmasters (Homage to Duncan Idaho)

Yes, you are right on with the genres of the houses. Atreides are honorable and kind, so they have majestic themes. Harkonnen are evil and inflict cruel, heavy damage giving them the reputation of a deep, heavy metal war theme. Ordos are known for deception and restricted computerizational technology. This house's genre of techno machina/futurism is my favorite of the 3.

Ok, but I don't think there are any Harkonnen themed exclusive anime pictures out there (and NO Harkonnen cannon from Hellsing). I chose this picture because the dragon reminds me of the robotic esque instruments, and the whole tune goes good with the picture.

This is my favourite Harkonnen piece. I missed the game, but i have the complete sound track. Harkonnens had the best music. Atreides music wall alright. Ordos Music was for the most part S**t

Thats fine mate, the Harkonnen are a bit misunderstood to be honest, they are brutal and crude yet they do have a taste for the refined too! At least in the books! In some respects the pretty images of anime combined with brutality somes them up! Its kind of messed up but thats the way they are in the dune books, they like beauty and cruelty.

At Biowon I'm guessing, with my limited anime/manga knowledge, that the Atreides would be like Full Metal Panic characters (good side of course), Harkonnen would be like like the Hellsing organization only more bent towards evil and Ordos would be played by characters similar to Orochimaru and crew from Naruto. Subhouses: Fremen would be portrayed like Bleach characters only darker and more secretive/seclusive. Ix; take any characters that are devoid of personality and all business, there's no lack of those in anime. Sardaukar would be somewhat like the Samurai from Basilisk. Tleilaxu would be... I dunno. Take anything with zombies and/or other monsters I suppose (ugh). The guild would be like any business focused characters, but with some measure of personality, granted. They are pretty bland.

I suppose being a harkonnen would be cool, but you really would not like to be one. Acension in the Harkonnen society is impossible without assasination or killing someone for thier position and gaining thier status. Ordos are no better, " in thier dictionery there are no words for the concept of loyalty or honor, there are more than 300 for the concept of profit". Out of the 3, Atreides would be nicer to be.
