At last!! My fifth time seeing Emperor and their first mini tour of the US in 16 years. They toured select Us cities in 2007 and haven't been back here since until last year for a one shot deal at Psycho Las Vegas 2022. They were phenomenal then and just as incredible this time. Curse You All Men! Was played to perfection and the Kings Theatre was one of the best places they could have played in the New York City area. Looking at their other US dates - I haven't been to those other venues but I bet all have great sound as well. If you were interested and didn't sign up yet and tickets are still available run to go get them! You won't be disappointed.

I was at the Dallas show a few days later. The Venue is now called "South Side Ballroom." It's been around for a long time, and I've seen many, many metal shows there over the years. It is definitely an excellent sounding venue. It used to be called "The Palladium Ballroom on South Lamar." Some of the bands I've seen there are Lamb of God, Machine Head, Deftones, Helmet (Page Hamilton), and Gojira. Highly recommended venue.
