Emperor of the Daleks: Sneak Peek

Thought I would show off this sneak peak of the upcoming animation of Emperor of the Daleks. This scene is actually the first scene the main cast characters are altogether. Again this is work in progress, along with this is the first time I am properly animating humanoid characters in 3ds max, and i can't afford the software to aid with lip syncing and movement. So please bare that in mind.

Nice renegade dalek action,they look way better in this than they did in the series. I wander if this special weapons dalek is the same one that switched sides, I think i heard.

Thanks the design of the daleks is based on lee sullivans Daleks used in the comic. As for the special weapons Daleks, its now been established that both sides used them. Even in the Emperor of the Daleks comic is showed multiple SWD's on both sides. Also Time Lord victorious now confirms this. Since that is now canon, All SWD's became the executioner daleks. So in this you will see several SWD's the follow the Emperor Dalek.

Thank you! I got the idea from the dalek executioner from TLV, in that the executioners are just SWDs in new casings. In my mind the SWDs are insane and solely focus on wiping out everything utterly. So purging. I did have a shot of the SWD enroute to the daleks location and on the way just shooting down the dalek technobots but It sadly had to be cut for timing and pacing of the story.

Fantastic!! Lovely animation and intriguing story! Recogmised matt immediately as Davros! He channels Molloy so well! Was he a couple of daleks at the end two?? The swd looks great.

Soon, I am hoping to release it towards the end of November. But real life at work is crazy at the moment.
