They should play by night, at least around sunset. But hey, I'm grateful and would like to thank every single person who made it possible for us to enjoy EMPEROR in 2018 in these fake modern times of commercial pseudo music. Have great memories from late 90s when I started discovering them along with Septic Flesh, Death, Kind Diamond....Ah ! The dream came true and I saw Septic Flesh a few weeks ago live in Casablanca ! Anyway, cheers from Morocco.

Trym? What happened to Faust?
@magnusr91566 жыл бұрын
I saw them at Sweden Rock Festival some years ago. The played the whole of their breakthrough album, shit I can't remember the name right now (sorry), but Faust played and was very tight and very good. But maybe that was just a one time thing, a one time tour. Sorry for my bad english :)

@@magnusr9156 As I understand it, Faust was only playing with them for the 25th year anniversary of night eclipse album. Trym is their official drummer. :-]

2 reasons, 1 the song is a bit polyrithmic and they have not played together since like the 2000s (like over 15 years ago for sure!) so they need to concentrate AND last i known the Riffs and bass guitar were all made by Ishan so the (maybe) guess guitarist can't play around and mess up this "rare" live performance. 2 they played those songs a lot in the past so even if you make a song, it some times becomes beneath you... like you grown musically with each albums so a song you wrote at 16 is not like the material that you made at 25 when your playing matured so the awesomeness you felt at first just is not there anymore! (and man do i wish they made a new album! the "Prometheus of fire and demise" is almost to much true to it's name!)
@almadaestudios6 жыл бұрын
@@theepicslayer7sss101 yeah You can definitely be right. BUT it can also be because they obviously just do these once-a-year gigs merely to cash in, and they're phoning in the performance

I love Emperor like i don't love many bands, and this performance was great as usual, but why do they play almost every second year aniversery-shows at festivals without dropping out any new material since they quit in 2001. They should do these live happenings much less because it's nothing special anymore. They should earn their money in others ways.
