That's it! I was trying to remember who his music, like this song, reminds me of.... ...Andrew Bird. While I don't think he looks anything like Andrew Bird, his songwriting and especially lyrical style sounds like something Andrew Bird wrote.... ...and I absolutely love Andrew Bird, so that might explain why I am drawn to Emperor X. I've only discovered him a few days ago after accidentally coming across his cover of a Silver Jews song called Horseleg Swastikas. After hearing his rendition of one of my all-time favorite songs by one of my all-time favorite people, David Berman and his band Silver Jews, I had to research who this Emperor X dude is, and that's pretty much how I ended up here.

I watched him play a full set last night and he didnt change tunings once, used this guitar actually, so unless he plays exclusively in an alternate tuning (possibly) then I think its in standard
