Your covers are extremely well done, technique, sound and production wise. Extremely underrated channel that I always recommend when I get a chance. Those first two riffs have always been kinda tricky for me since they don't seem to go along with the drums, is something happening there or can I confirm I'm dumb?

Many many thanks for these nice words!! Don't know if this is my channel or Emperor/Ihsahn 's music which is extremely underrated :) I'm doing these videos for pleasure, love of guitar and music and most of all to honour the majesty of Emperor masterpieces...I would like to produce a lot more videos but I can't really find more time for that in my busy daily life :) And it's always cool and gratifying when people tell you they like what you do, so thanks again! For these intro riffs, I can see what you mean, I also have this feeling on some other songs, for example on the first part of "I Am the black wizards", when the drums are blasting behind the main theme of the song....Every time I hear this (and I can tell you I heard this several thousands of times :) ), I have the strange feeling that drums are not "in sync" with the guitars, or something like that.....Whereas they are obviously in sync :D So maybe I'm dumb too :D Emperial Cheers from France!

emperialAnthems Awesome bro, Tongue of Fire is a slow burner, but proof that Ihsahn just seems to make a serious showing of marrying melody and atonal work, with the whole being just....classically sinister. I thought it was so on point when his Adversary album was bent on Lucifer as not so much "the devil" as a beautifully twisted rebel being. It just WAS Ihsahn. Look forward to your work. Hails!

Thanks for your comment. Of course, this is me playing, in fact my guitars are already louder than the original track so this is my guitars that you can hear. Anyway, this is also a reason why I don't do covers over the original songs anymore. For the last 3 or 4 years, I'm exclusively doing FULL covers, where ALL instruments (for drums I also use midi tracks, either programmed by myself or by other guys) are played by myself or people I collaborate with.
