I thought Empire of Light was an exceptional film. Beautiful story, setting, acting. The beauty of the Empire theatre and the sadness that most theatres from the same era have been torn down. I wish Jake's interviews had been longer and focused more on this film so we could learn more about Sam Mendes and his love of film that brought him to creating this wonderful movie.

10:41 She believes in the antithesis of this film lol. I'm very surprised she got the job when in talks with Mendes then. Cos going to see films in the cinema after the pandemic is a secondary theme or message in this film. Also I agree. I can see that she likes having more control lol.
