Fabulous band! I was reading an article about this conceptual album and they say something like “If you jam vhs copies of Labyrinth and Neverending Story into a blender this is what you got". That's it! The whole album is trippy. Mid 80s, flamboyant, kitsch. You should react on "Standing On The Shore" from them.

The first single from a great Australian duo. I never loved the song personally, but there's something about it which made it stick to my brain and kinda enjoy it. The main singer in blue (Luke) tends to always wear facial war paint/makeup, and some form of headdress/helmet that changes style with every album, and colour with every music video from said album. They usually both wear unique outfits and perform with elaborate stage sets, with the style of the band being built upon "imagination". The other guy who now holds your obsession over his hair (Nick), is one half of another Australian duo "PNAU" (puh-now). You might know their work from the "Cold Heart" remix they did for Elton John and Dua Lipa, which was released during Covid in 2021. Like EOOT, they too have numerous gems for you to discover. I could list a bajillion music videos for you to react to from both duos and other Australian artists, but you're only human (I think). Hmm... Patreon donation requests when? *slides gold bar across the table* PS. Incase you start to randomly hum the chorus one day, the hard-to-understand chorus lyrics are: Is it real now? Two people become one I can feel it Two people become one I've been singing it wrong to myself since it was released in 2008, and decided to look it up mere moments ago for this comment, only to feel disgusted with myself that I didn't do it years earlier lol.
