Great video Sam! Just came back from my stay at sequoia lodge and we checked out this hotel.. there’s just something special about it it! I found it to be absolutely incredible and I can’t wait to stay here in the future

You could bath in that sink lol…it’s huge.. Oh WOW that view was amazing.. Love all the USB’s and different plugs….the art work is fantastic…I’m no Marvel expert but as you say you can enjoy the art work,still. Not sure I like art work looking over me in bed,like that Spider-Man! The lights are funky….I would call the headboards Oatmeal coloured… Omg some afternoon snack!! Lovely upgrade..👍..especially for that view… We love Cheyenne..and to be honest apart from that view,we’d stay at Cheyenne rather than here.. Booking Cheyenne tomorrow..so excited..😊🇬🇧

In the bathroom, where the plugs on the wall by the mirrors are. One of them is actually a Bluetooth bass so you can connect to it and the speakers above the toilet area :)

Also! The TV has chrome cast option. So you can cast Disney + KZbin and so on to it so don’t have to deal with box standard hotel channels :)

Good information in this vlog! I have loved the snacks in Compass Club and Golden Forest but the snacks in the new Empire State looks like a whole new level, the snacks look a little too fancy for me! Just like the weird hors d'oeuvre that you now get in Inventions Brunch.....looks pretty but not my cup of tea 🤣🤣

Hi Sam, thinking of booking club level but still don’t quite understand the differences between this and the standard rooms. Is it just the extras you showed in the video or are there more benefits? It’s my boyfriends first time going to Disneyland Paris, going for two nights and I’m not sure if it’s worth the extra at cost? Is the dining plan also worth it?

Great video as always. We've stayed at golden forest before and did enjoy it. But as a whole I don't usually do club level now. But as this is our first trip back after so long, I know think we will upgrade. Can you use infinity discount on these rooms?

Thanks Jen! As far as I'm aware, yes :) You can use them on Club level rooms, but not suites (and not Castle Club at Disneyland Hotel) x

Hey. I‘d liked to know on which level the Lounge is - is it still up by the empire club rooms? And arent there windows? And for the food: did you choose the stuff you get or is this a standard now? I‘ve been a few times in the CC and there it was much more food to choose from, which was good, as I have a to of allergies.... I will be staying in the Empire club in October and thats why Im asking...

I tend to book the meal plans to not have to pay at the restaurants as I go, and for a variety of food options so personally club level wouldn't be worth it for me, but it does look lovely 😊

For a two-day package stay in October, club level comes up £950 more expensive than a standard room in NY. For a slightly nicer room (debatable), breakfast and afternoon tea every day, for two people... this doesn't add up or make sense financially.

I'll be honest, I don't get the appeal of a club level room for the extra cost. It's basically the exact same room. That being said, I've never been someone who likes to dump money into hotel rooms when I'm really only sleeping in it. I'd rather spend the difference on other cool things to do or a fun souvenier. Yes there's a seperate conceirge check in, but your original check in seemed more than satisfactory. Yes you get the food, but my guess is the additional cost far exceeds the real value of that. I'm not sure how many people would make a special trip back to the hotel for the snack, and the offerings weren't that appealing. Just an FYI, the item on the top plate you didn't eat and weren't sure what it was, looked like a chia or flax seed pudding made with some form of fake milk Probably something a vegan or uber health freak might eat, but most of us would not enjoy. Fun video though to see the comparison! 😉

I agree to some degree, I think it really depends on your situation and style of travel. I remember staying Club Level (Golden Forest) in Sequoia once in November and thought it was absolutely pointless as the parks were so quiet, we didn't need the private lounge/extra fast pass etc. But then staying Golden Forest really helped make my July 2016 trip a lot better, as the parks were busy and the opening hours longer, so we loved getting away from the madness and going back to a quieter lounge for afternoon snacks. I personally would only do Empire State Club again if I'm there for a special occasion or with family/friends who might appreciate the slightly better service. Otherwise, I'm more than happy to stay in a standard room in one of the cheaper DLP hotels like Cheyenne and Santa Fe! :) Also, ha! Thanks for the explanation about the food item I was confused about - lowkey glad I didn't try it now tbh, it really didn't look appealing to me. Good to know for plant-based guests have more than just one option, though!

@@Sam4G0d Personally I think the best time to go to Disneyworld in Florida is the first weekday right after New Years Day, unless New Years Day falls on a later weekday. Then I'd go for the Monday after that. The temps are usually in the high 60's/low 70's, NO HUMIDITY, and the vast majority of families have left because kids normally have to be back in school. The wait for any ride is minimal if at all, which I like. I just don't have the patience to wait in long lines day after day. The other upside is because you spend so much less time just waiting, you can do the parks in much less days and do something else as well i.e. another theme park, head to the gulf and see the manatees, etc. Disney has become so grossly expensive per day at this stage I like to get the most bang for my buck. I also don't enjoy the heat and humidity of Florida, so for me it's the perfect time to go! 😁
