Empire: Total War Stakes don't work.

@RuneR96 do u have any idea how long it took them to release patch 1.5? more then a year! Why the hell do I need to wait more then a year to play a game I pre ordered?

lol same thing happened to me except I was using the skirmisher/light infantry deploy stakes, the enemy cavalry just ran through them like they were not even there. I just played it today (july 1st) with latest patch

@RuneR96 sad really.. to think that before Empire I'd accept being treated like that, because the would always fulfill there promises.. But not any more.. Not since they totally left out huge features that were promised in empire. And after more then a year and a half released the campaign multiplayer.. Which was promised to be released 3 months after the game was released.. I now hate CA with a passion..

The AI path finding is so bad they eliminated AI stakes causing damage to itself. Think about that.

Well my friend you remember wrong.. They are suppose to at lest slow them down! (Some guides even say prevent them from going through the stakes) Did they? And trust me I know what I'm talking about.. Ask about it in the games official forums you will see I'm right.. I did and that was the response I got from jack lusted (if you know who he is..) His response was that currently the stakes are bugged and that it is a know bug.

I was on defence with a fort and i deployed stakes infront of all the gates and they didnt get hrough the gate and then just killed the infranty that were on the walls and the retreated but i didnt win cuz the cavalry were still alive but they werent really nice cuz they didnt try to get passed the stakes so i had to wait like 45 minutes O_O

Did you download 1.5 patch? Stakes work there i've seen it.

I used to accidentally suicide my general on stakes all the time.(MY OWN STAKES!!). rarely does this happen to me.. but damn... that's frickin ... funny.
