For all the parents who never thought their child was good enough....they were...will and always will be. To the children out there who have been told they are not good enough...you are. and will always be. To those adults like me for years who always tried to be good enough yet always felt like they came up short in pleasing their parents only to realize they were good enough all along. YOU. ARE. ENOUGH.
@michaelstone73818 жыл бұрын
Thank you. Broke into tears reading this. and its not just parents, but just being good enough for those you love. or good enough in general. Thank you for being willing to write these words. Thank you.
@Selflovematters4life8 жыл бұрын
I'm glad that you found comfort in those words. You are very welcome. My painful relationship is almost at the end so when I tell you I understand...believe me I understand! I had to realize I was good enough...and more than enough. That I was settling for less than I deserved...all stemming from those years as a kid who felt the need to "find a way to get someone to love me". We are loved because because we exist not for what we do.

That scene when she flew out of the house to stop him from putting the kid in the trash, and then when she looks at him and says, "I wish you would." Good Enough" (feat. Jussie Smollett) I gave you all of me But it still ain't enough to make you happy I gave you everything It still don't measure up It feels like I walked five thousand miles And didn't even come close Feels like I try to make you smile But you don't even care, no I'll never be big enough to pay your dues But I keep trying And you just keep making me jump through hoops What do I got to do? I just want you to look at me And see that I can be worth your love I just want you to look at me And see that I can be Good enough, good enough Good enough And see that I can be Good enough, good enough Good enough I try to show you that I'm strong Why do I even bother? Cause it's the same old damn song And you call yourself a father Feels like I'm reaching for the stars But heaven isn't letting me I wish that I had longer arms But I know that will never be never be I'll never be big enough to pay your dues But I keep trying And you just keep making me jump through hoops What do I got to do? I just want you to look at me And see that I can be worth your love I just want you to look at me And see that I can be Good enough, good enough Good enough And see that I can be Good enough, good enough Good enough Look at me I'm standing right here waiting for you, here I am Look at me Lookin' for your acceptance, do you give a damn? Look at me See it doesn't matter what you think, I'm still a man Look at me Open up your eyes, can't you see that I'm good enough I just want you to look at me Look at me I just want you to look at me And see that I can be Good enough, good enough Good enough I just wanna be, yeah Good enough, good enough Good enough

That is such a biased statement to even imply that a woman loves her child more than a father is absurd you women think that because you carry a child and give birth to it that you have a deeper connection to that child than the father this is a perfect example at how biased society has become attributing only good things to women while men are degraded by being labeled the plague that's destroying the world I think that if it takes two to produce a child then it takes two to provide that child with the love that he or she fully deserves

Oh Oh oh-oh Oh-oh I gave you all of me But it still ain't enough to make you happy I gave you everything It still don't measure up It feels like I walked five thousand miles And didn't even come close It feels like I try to make you smile But you don't even care, no I'll never be big enough to pay your dues But I keep trying And you just keep on making me jump through hoops What do I gotta do? I just want you to look at me And see that I can be worth your love I just want you to look at me And see that I can be Good enough, good enough Good enough And see that I can be, yeah Good enough (Good enough) Good enough (Good enough) Good enough (Good enough) Oh, whoa (Good enough, I can be good enough) (Good enough, I can be good enough) That I can be (Good enough, I can be good enough) Good enough (Good enough, I can be good enough) I try to show you that I'm strong Why do I even bother? 'Cause it's the same old damn song And you call yourself a father, whoa Feels like I'm reaching for the stars But Heaven isn't letting me I wish that I had longer arms But I know that will never be, never be I'll never be big enough to pay your dues But I keep trying And you just keep on making me jump through hoops What do I gotta do? I just want you to look at me And see that I can be worth your love I just want you to look at me And see that I can be Good enough (Enough), good enough (Enough) Good enough And see that I can be, yeah Good enough (Good enough) Good enough, good enough (Good enough) Good enough (Look at me) I'm standing right here waiting for you, here I am (Look at me) Lookin' for your acceptance, do you give a damn? (Look at me) See, it doesn't matter what you think, I'm still a man (Look at me) Open up your eyes, can't you see that I'm good enough? (Whoa, whoa) I just want you to look at me (Look at me) I just want you to look at me And see that I can be Good enough, good enough, good enough I just wanna be, yeah Good enough, good enough, good enough Good enough

Was looking for this comment I've been super in love with my ex even though it's been 2.5 years without seeing each other in person I always held on to that hope but now I just realized that I'll never be good enough for her and just have to be content with myself without me settling. I guess she's not out or anything like me and probably just can't see her life with another female and even though in my soul I felt we were soulmates I'll never bee good enough.

It was later proven that he had hired 2 Nigerian black men to 'lightly' attack him and staged the whole event. He has never admitted to lying or making it up despite the fact that the 2 Nigerian men admitted to attacking him and were caught on camera on the way to attack him wearing what he described the attackers wearing except he said they were white and these guys were black.
