When yout think about it there is a costume outfitter event and if you pull a legendary you can just get the costume and you get a headstart on leveling it up instead of the first hero first :)

I think this is awesome for newer players and for the cheap or free to play. I am pretty established with my roster and just above cheap to play. However, I am a hero collector and know rebalancings do happen so think this is a good decision to grow the player base.

💯 agree would be nice to see more recent heroes added and with costumes but for the cost and collection factor I don't see it as a bad thing. Hopefully they will have more frequent Outfitters Visits 🤞🤞🤞

Cool idea, but i dont really think this will be as cool as everyone thinks. Older heroes already done doesnt really change the fact that they are still useless.... No costumes and its still very low odds to summon them in the first place. What needs to be done is newer heroes need to have a 100% chance to be summon already done, costumes included in every portal. It really does get pretty tiring leveling up so many heroes and they are mostly useless until they are at 4/80 minimum. It is a good start to MAYBE something useful in the distant future, though!

SOOOOOO..... for the high rollers, whales, Krakens and such they probably wouldn't bother with this portal. But , for the f2p, cheap2play this could actually be pretty good for them. Some of those hereos are still pretty OP. Ruby from the Ninja tower caught my eye and Mother North is still really useful. Not bad but not great either.

Totally agree 👍 It will be awesome for newer players and tbh I would love to see a push towards more fast track options for newer players like this. I'd guess they could include the newer heroes but that may cause a stir amongst the spenders... as always it's a wierd balancing act but also it's refreshing to see things like this being trialled. Still waiting patiently fir the giant all encompassing balance update which will probably never come 🤔 but off the back of this some major stat updates to older costumes would go a long way.

@McNaultyYT I don't think they (SG) could afford to put newer hereos into a portal like this. That's where they make all their money. If they put new hereos fast tracked then big spenders would spend minimal just waiting for this portal instead of buying gems, tokens, ascension mats, etc.

And of course they will sell the chances to get these summons for loads of gems. So the whales and all the money they spend will simply get stronger and the rest of us on budgets become more seal clubbing materials for their fun. Yep, so nice to see how the average player gets beat down once more with a new feature.

@@walterengler5709 Erm...thanks for the comment... but the summons are less gems than elsewhere?. & I'm hoping they will release an event where FTP can earn some coins. As for whales and 'seal clubbing' 🦭 😅 those who spend a good amount of money will always compete in a different league than those who don't speaking as someone who hardly spends on the game I have always accepted that and I know that I need to manage my expectations. This portal will most likely do very little for the 'Whales' or for SG's pockets in the short term and tbh I'd much rather they do this than release new heroes with increasingly stronger team power and meta counters every week. That's the Whale bait right there! Sos for the long response but I feel like u were a little off base with this one. I get the frustration but in this case I think it's misdirected ;?) Tysm 😊 🙏 🍻

Ok this ain't great but still can be good. Not a fan of talent grid on the left as will more then likely you Will have to reset or could just leave as costume are available for folk if you have already.. plus as you mentioned outfitter is probably the best mechanic in the game for this reason alone with FS and SE .. can work with that... Plus seems there going to be a quest for coins maybe how else we get them. so dont have to spend gems on it. That cool... It can be good its a long term goood... Also what yah name on the forum?

This seems like a brilliant addition targeted at new players so hopefully that is the plan 👍 it can definitely be tweaked to include more relevant heroes or at least some costumes just to keep the pace but I don't see it as a bad idea or a cash grab for whales. They will not pull in these kind of portals. Anything that they try which favours the FTP and CTP and New Players I am 1000% for, catering to the top 1% is a surefire way to annoying folks but this, whilst boring for some is great for the health of the game.

Trash portal. Most of all those heroes if they are not at least second limit broken are useless, maybe it was ok if it was 100% chance for second limite broken ... ohhh also no costume, even with outfitter this is really bad. I would rather spend 350 gems and get a brand new overpowered hero and take 1+ month to level it up, than a small chance to get a for sure not OP hero with a even small chance to be actually leved, which was supposed to be the attractive from the portal. Run away from this

Useless even at 2lb and 25 emblems lol The idea is pretty cool, but terrible execution to be honest. The summon odds are way too low to make it worth it when most of the heroes are not really useable nowadays unless you are free to play and if you are you probably wont be summoning in this portal so.... Costumes not being included would be fine if the portal was all newer heroes less than 6 months old. I mean, i wouldnt mind a second cao cao already leveled since i already have his costume it would have it when summoned again.

This may help new players get some half way decent heros while they work on building stronger teams. For anyone who's been playing for a while, this is a complete waste of time. Most of those heros are weak compared to the newer released heros. The majority of the heros in this summons, I wouldn't invest resources in.

@@victorloro702 yeah I have had another look over the hero pool and sadly I do agree, they should be adding newer heroes to this as even though the heroes are levelled and the gem costs aren't high they are still in a 'chance' based summon portal and as such the chance here doesn't have a relative reward to the spend, unless you are just starting out. There's still time ⏲️ hopefully the actual thing will have a better pool of heroes 🤞🤞🤞
