Hi mate, I hope you are doing well! For a 2nd time in a row, the goblin portal disappoints greatly.After the Rocket guy, that even the good old Rigard counters, now come 3 legendary heroes, that have nothing special at all. I can't see a single reason to take Vanya over Grimsteel - both are slow, both heal for 54%, but this mega minion of Vanya, that cleanses and his passive against wither can not be compared with the massive 400 defense and attack growth by Grimsteel - think about it - this growth will nullify 2,5 times (2,5 x 160=400) Fizzcoil's wither - so u can withstand Fizzcoil using his ulty at least twice by simply using Grimsteel's special.So Grimsteel's heal definetly counters Wither, only downside, it is not a passive, u need to cast it.However the 30% mana generation to all allies from Grimsteel is huge.So I would take Grimsteel over Vanya any day - keep also in mind that Vanya's passive has 0 use against no goblins enemies, while the 400 growth will always be mostly welcome. Now Scrollbeast is the hero I like most - he is slow, but he hits hard and the mega minion is very beefy and that 250% damage is no joke at all.Consider this - this mega minion would hit at least 3-4 times before getting destroyed, so this will be about 1000% (4 hits x each 250%) more damage - add this damage to the 335% damage to all and u will see,that the full amount of damage is getting ridiculous. Also that mega minion will have about 1500 hp and will counterattack - so u will have the crappy choice between letting that minion hits u with 250% each turn or run into its 100% counterattack just to destroy the minion, while the ugly faced goblin will laugh at u at full hp...For me this is the best hero in the portal and yet again he ain't featured.... just like the seasonal summon bes hero - Archie - ain't featured. In general, the goblins need bigger Wither and Growth effect in order to stay competitive, cause of the increasing stats of the new heroes.E.g. -350 attack was like -35% attack 1 year ago, now is more like 25%. Hi DP 👋 thanks as always for a very well thought out comment. I like the comparison with Grimsteel and Vanya, again I didn't give GrimmS enough props to begin with. Scroll beast does have a lot going for him too I just feel like poor BOOM and Fang got hung out to dry 😅

Hi McN, I thought the very same about Boom&Fang, but didn't want to make a too long comment, jn case KZbin deletes it again.Now that my comment is safe I would say that by introducing Scrollbeast SG is admitting they made a huge mistake with the poor B&F - by far the worst goblin ever.Just compare it with SB - both get the same mega minion with same hp, attack and 100% counterattack. However SB hits all 5 and does a massive Wither...Only difference is the mana speed slow compared to the BF's average, but this is something I can live with.I reckon SB would've been op if he was at average speed. Mb he should've done less damage about 230-250% to all, while keeping the rest same (wither and megamimion), but make him average speed - then he would've been in top 5 of the goblins. About Grimsteel - I know y don't like him, but compare him to the other slow healers - first few I can think of are Vanya, Vivica and Jasper - well, I'd take Grimsteel over those three any time, any day.I agree with you that a slow speed hero should be a battle changer and Grimsteel actually is, the only problem is he doesn't destroy enemies, he just supports allies greatly. That 400 growth is massive, it's like 35% more attack and defense, but not for a few turns, but permanent!Also looking at this Garrison family's passive, the Growth is actually now the best way to cripple enemies permanently - for it is almost the same whether u will Growth allies with 400 defense or Wither enemies attack by 400 - the numbers of the enemies attack on your heroes will be the same.However now that Wither can be cleansed/removed, Growth has even bigger value and only DF, Pepperflame and GS provide Growth, which makes GS more valuable. The 30% mana generation to all is also big, and the 54% heal is one of the highest ingame, if u throw in the team the Cupido, it will be even 74%.So what GS does is actually bringing all your heroes back to full health, adding to this 400 more defense and attack and the 30% mana generation. Imagine u start the battle with those bonuses and that's exactly what GS does.

Thanks for the comment and Congrats on ur Goblins. Sorry to say I haven't found boom and fang to be very effective on defense really needs some growth or wither or some other buff to make them more effective but the C attack minion alone isn't enough IMHO.

SOOOOOO......They beefed these Garrison Hereos from Beta. They really looked lackluster in that format. Vanya is definitely the chase for the 5's and that includes the unreleased ones I've seen as well. You know i have terrible luck with getting red healers till Hathor had her costume come out. Got 2 of her in that one 10 pull so I'm good. I still did some pulls with tokens as I'm saving for Astral Elves (wanna get Starlass then I'm going spending celibate for a while). I got several williams, a greg and pulled Fizzcoil (my 1st) and another Darkfeather. So I'm good for now while i wait till next week. Great video, wonderful info, keep up the great work Mcnaulty!!!

Thanks for the review. Be careful taking the minions who put bleed damage on a team that reflects ailments. That would hurt! Would have been nice if the passive also removed growth, but I guess that's asking too much.

Yep bleed has always stacked with itself which I kinda like for heroes that inflict bleed but of all of the talent classes it is still my least favourite druid is a close 2nd. Maybe a tie 😅
