I really appreciate having the Roleplay disclaimer on, especially considering the parasocial structure of these types of videos, it can be REALLY easy to see everything as really happening (not the demon stuff obviously). As someone whose autistic, it really bothered me seeing people act like the roleplaying was "obvious" when everyone is acting the same when roleplaying and when not.

*I will be adding to this every so often* So the story of the Demon I've seen so far The demon came from Shubble's old land which was corrupted, it said it followed Shubble, I can make an assumption that Sausage strengthened the demon or summoned it back. Also the corruption seems to be from the nether, I'm assuming it's a different corruption from the one that Shubble's been studying tho. I feel like the Demon may be trying to help Gem or something, I have no idea tho. I just realized that Demon has visited Shubble but her kingdom hasn't been effected by any corruption yet :0 I'm pretty sure the Demon's voice isn't important y'all Seems like the corruption has been touched almost everyone, even the queen of the ocean herself

Other notes include that it has taunted Fwhip in the night, where his kingdom is already the most corrupted by default. It does seem to like to use nether blocks, as they are often red (corruption), perhaps that's why it likes the sacrifice of Blood Sheep. It, thus far, hasn't seemed to bother anyone else from the other 'allied' side of the server, such as Jimmy, Pix, Lizzy, and Joel. The demon also seems to have an interest in getting players to The End... Also, the demon sounds very... Scottish.... or Scott-ish...

I'm absolutely loving the roleplay aspect to this series, everyone is doing so well with it! It's really elevating this series above everything else that I've seen so far because survival series, even in smps can sometimes get repetitive. the aspect of adding lore is smth I've really been wanting to see especially on Gem, and Sausages channels because of the way they already built their survival worlds as though they were building around a story! The more moving parts there are (i.e. other roleplaying members) the more entertaining this gets! and its so sweet to see how invested they all are in the series and in making incredible content for us!

I love the role playing! I know a lot of people don’t realise since most people don’t deal with it personally, but it would be amazing if you subtitled the demons voice. I have hearing difficulties and usually use the auto generated subtitles when I need. However, the demons distorted voice was too hard to understand for me and the captions didn’t work most of the time so I’m sure some others found it hard too. I know it’s a lot of work and it wouldn’t benefit too many people but it is really amazing when people subtitle videos (or just things which are very distorted). It’s just a suggestion and honestly I’m happy to rewatch a billion times or just deal with not knowing what had been said (i have to do it all the time anyway) but it really does make me happy when people consider these things!

More generally, when two players are interacting or a player is talking about an interaction with another, it is RP by default. It's really not that hard to figure out. Being (I hate the sound of this term) "nEuRoDiVeRgEnT" isn't an excuse for not being able to distinguish such an obvious fantasy from reality. You don't need to be socially adept or demand others make things easy for you. Just learn the rules that the normals use and when in doubt, don't make a big deal out of it.

Just because you don’t prefer to call yourself neurodivergent doesn’t mean that others aren’t allowed to prefer that word either. You need to get out of your own head and realize that other people have different experiences and world views than you, and some things you might think are useless can be incredibly helpful to someone else. some people simply can’t “learn the normal rules” and they have no agency over that. I hope you reevaluate your position because everyone can benefit from getting insight on other’s worlds

@@marekita8719 I do struggle with social cues. I'm telling you there's ways around that. I don't prefer to call _anyone_ "neurodivergent" because it sounds ridiculous. It sounds like something people who don't have serious mental disorders came up with to make themselves sound cool for having OCD or some other trivial crap. My issue with putting a crutch for stupid people on screen isn't that I find no use for it, it's that it positively ruins the experience of watching a roleplay. And for people who do struggle with social cues, I can only imagine this would make it worse for them. Real life people don't use explicit statements to indicate sarcasm or deception. It's something you have to learn. Toughen up.

I think -- at some point in the near future -- there needs to be a large crystal formation somewhere (maybe in a basement of the tower?) for warding off the demon. I also think the wizard tower needs bubble column elevators. One from inside the base, one from the ground into the base, and one from the basement to the base if there is one. Just some ideas!

Hi Gem, loved the video. Don't know what plans you got for the tower, but if you tried to make some clouds around the top of it, it would highlight how high it is, and depending on how you want the scene to play out you could go for different colored clouds. Seeing the theme you have going now you could try to mix white with yellow and purple to make it look magical. I tried to make this once and it turned out okay, however I am not anywhere close to be a builder of your caliber so I bet you could make it look awesome without breaking a sweat :) BR from Norway

I absolutely loved the lore in today's episode! You're doing so well!! I have an idea for a build and possible lore. I remember hearing that on the great wall of China there are beacons along the way to signal to other places if there are attackers, well what if people on the server set up towers or used already built ones like yours. They could be a safe place to hide away from the demon and if the demon is spotted the person at that tower can light up a flare to near by towers to warn them! Of course no one would probably be able to see the flares so you might have to role play it out but I hope this is useful to you!

I originally only watched Lizzie's empire series and was caught really off guard by all the demon stuff it felt out of place but to learn that he doesn't like water makes the fact that Lizzie doesn't see him make more sense

I really enjoyed this! I think the roleplaying on your part (I REALLY like how your character showed, what you are trying to do with your character the curious wizard, and how I was able to get to know her more through this experience she had with the demon) and everyone elses part as well was really well done, loved the music and all the audio design in this episode, liked how it was built up and yeah.. overall really good work! Really enjoyed this episode!
