Coming to your query, in case the company is involved only in the business of letting out properties and earning an income out of it, then the entire income so generated shall be treated as business income and thus qualify for all such deduction benefits along with 37(1) for employer employee scheme. To summarise, any company having only rental income can apply for employer employee scheme. Hope this helps. One question, there is a format from the company for " beneficial ownership declaration" in which all details asked like dob pan no percentage of share name adress so whose information supposed to be fill up (ALL DIRECTORS INFORMATION OR ONLY THE INSURED PERSON) This is type B

Dear Madhav, as of now, there are a couple of conditions which an employer needs to keep in mind while opting for employer employee insurance scheme. Firstly, the total profit made by an organisation in a particular financial year can be contributed as premium towards the employee's insurance plan. However in doing so, the company shall no more remain profitable post the deduction of premium from net profit u/s 37(1). This in turn may affect the growth of the company and fresh loans may not be provided to such an organisation. Hence the companies refrain from such a strategy. Second point to be kept in mind that the amount of sum assured generated for an employee cannot exceed his human life value as per the income multiplier. Say for example in any particular life insurance providing company, anyone in the age bracket of 18 to 35, can avail of a sum assured of 20 times of his or her annual income and not beyond. This is just a sample underwriting guideline which may vary among company to company. Hope this helps. Employer can take maximum premium of 3 times of gross profit or 5 times of net profit of company. For a single employee premium can not exceed from his/her yearly salary.

if it’s not assigned then there no compulsory to pay death Sum Assured to nominee (employee family) because employer is the owner of the policy but on good will note company May giveback the SA to it’s employees family. In case of assignment is done then the entire sum assured is given to employee family (nominee)

Ankita thanks for your interest in this topic. The death covered are natural death, accidental death, death due to illness and certain policies also cover suicide after completing one year from the issuance of the policy. The case which you have mentioned, the deceased is identified to be under the effect of alcohol. This information is expected to be mentioned while the policy was made to make claims easier. In case if such a death has occured after completing 3 years then the claim would not be questioned and paid out as usual. Also please note that most of the companies opt for group term insurance for their employees and such policy has a different type of benefit to the employee. life insuance company cannot repudiate claim after the completion of three policy years.(refer sec 45 of Insurance Act -Indisputability clause) If some one had a preexisting disease or drinking habits should have been disclosed on inception of the policy ....rest need more information to anwser.

Employer would not be able to receive any benefit as it will violate IRDA guideline of Keyman and would fall into scrutiny. You should delete this video if you had no knowledge of the subject

Some companies take this as Tax Deferment option. So they will not assign the policy hence, maturity proceedings will go to company's hand only.
