Literally brings tears to my eyes 😢All the stress and hardship my company is giving me. I went through a huge process to get hired. Even asked if they hired disabled. “Yes” they said. I got trained, past all these kinds of tests. Did I mention I made it through equipment training and was operating operating equipment. Not putting anyone at risks. I made it through a couple months with no problems. Up until they have me start doing work I wasn’t trained for and wasn’t in my job description. After some time it starts affecting my disability, so I say 👋 Hey I’m disabled I can’t do this. Instead of putting me back to my original position, they put me on a leave of absence. What the problem is, the people who are behind the desks haven’t seen me. Who are they to judge who I am and what I can’t do. I have doctors who see me on a regular basis to know my health and my abilities who even gave me clearance to the job I was hired for. They’ve never once met me in person and are already judging my appearance. How did i go through all that to end up here with no job 2am in the morning stressing myself out. This happened before Christmas. They couldn’t even accommodate me before Christmas. Ruined it of course. One hell of a way to ring in the New Year

I just don't see the point in working in general. I got hired at Kroger one time and they told me to show up for orientation on a Friday. Signed the legal documents etc. I got approached by a huge man and he asked me with a disappointment and annoyed look on his face. "What are you doing here? He literally said that. Felt like I was being interrogated in all honesty. I told him I got hired like two days ago and he was denying it making it look like I never did the interview at all even being told after I was literally going through the employment process. Told to go to orientation etc. I did. Like I said. They refused me to go in the door. Kicked me out made SURE I wasn't even allowed etc. Then had one of their managers wait for me out SIDE until my own mother came to pick me up and have me remove from the property. I was PISSED. DO NOT WORK AT KROGER OR EVEN THINK OF APPLYING IF YOU HAVE A DISABILITY, etc. I've seen others with disabilities working there and I'M PISSED( Beyond livid. Pretty sure they all got job coaches etc. I'm like what's the point in working if they'll just terminate you anyway and come up with some excuse? HR won't do anything. They did the SAME THING to my Brother at Walmart too. They harassed him, stalked, provoked, bullied him until oblivion and we got NO help at all. Gave him severe emotional PTSD and trauma and panic attacks after he worked there busting his ass for 3 years working FULL TIME. America sucks ass when it comes to working especially if you have a disability of any kind. Even if you want to have a decent life. We can't live on disability or SSI for ever. Even if you get on SSI they don't give you ENOUGH to live off on which sucks. :( Even had to call our government at one point to push and recognize discrimination and harassment at the work place. These employers are going to seriously cause some emotional damage to persons with disabilities who are trying to work for a living. My brothers last boss knew he had ADHD with aggression and terminated him on the SPOT while there were CAMERAS yes cameras because she provoked him and played the VICTIM and everyone at the restaurant looked at him like he deserves to be locked up in a institution. One employer got PHYSICAL contact with my brother. He was crying outside behind the dumpster from all the humiliation he went through at the restaurant. Someone needs to stop this shit. It's not fair. He was eating breakfast before his shift too before it happened. And tried to clock him in too early and they knew what they were doing. It's pretty messed up.

My employer wants me to stand all day while working and not use the chairs which is already available. They are saying the chairs have a safety issue. It’s been almost a year and they have not evaluated the safety of the chairs yet.

What is it that you do? Would sitting in a chair change your ability to perform your job? Would it benefit the company for you to get more work done in the same amount of time? Tell them that. I know it’s hard because they think it makes a person lazy. If it does take them away. Trial and error. I feel you. I’m stuck in a somewhat same position if not worse

Disability Pension denied, there reason was my doctors medical records wasn’t enough basically, even though my doctors said I was disable, plus SSDI doctors agreed, they didn’t look at Social Security decision at all. I believe they didn’t think I would pursue any legal action, knowing that I would receive some kind of pension anyway. Also they knew the only way to contest the denial was in Supreme Court. Isn’t that a huge mistake on them for not reviewing SS decision at all. Doesn't that also violate my rights.

We don't have any rights sadly. Coming from experience. :( Even jobs that require no experience they refuse to hire you. Been there. But would rather hire someone who doesn't do their job. It sucks.
