So many of these Tavern songs are so good that I often stop and listen to the whole thing before carrying on with the game. Some songs literally stop me in my tracks. Beautiful songs that are well sung. So I'm really disappointed that the soundtrack on iTunes doesn't include any of them! If they sold a soundtrack of just the tavern songs, they would make a killing.

I remember entering Val Royeux and an instrumental version of this started playing. Almost immediately I was greeted with the glossy noble aura that the Orlesian's held, their fashion was so elaborate and flashy and even their guards looked stunning unlike the robust armour I often see in Thedas. inquisition is great, has some improvements the combat is amazing, storyline is good, carismatic companions, you can forge weapons, armors, put name on the gears. ok one thing i dont like on inquisition is the fact they limited the classes for exemple: warriors can be equip with only weapon and shield, and dual weapons, and use the same type of armor. the skills three i prefer ten times orgins than inquisition, ok inquisition is still great game but i fell some limitations

I happened to chance upon this song played in the tavern in Orlais, and it was song in french. I was moved by how beatifull it sounds in french... So i just sat there with my headphones on listening to the song 2 or 3 times until it stoped playing. Just sitting and listening that was the most fun part of the game for me, and ocasianally hearing the background tavern conversations and noises. It was truly a wonder for me. "Empress of fire" does not contain anything but a referrence to the fact we're speaking about the Empress here. "In the reign of the lion" - this is the first suggestion we're talking about Celene. The Valmonts (Celene's family) have a lion in their family crest. "Eclipsed in the eye of" again, nothing in this line to clear who it is exactly. "The empire of we Orlesians" - this suggests we're talking about the Orlesian Empress (which was obvious enough from the fact that Orlais is the only country with an Empress/Emperor, rather than King/Queen) A little down the road in the lyrics, there's a... "Empress of Fire, Save us, everyone, The nation reviles, The course is but run, and the end has begun." These four lines refer to the Orlesian Civil War, I believe, as it's pretty much begging the "Empress of Fire" to "Save us, everyone" while "The nation reviles [Celene? Gaspard?]" and "The course is but run, and the end has begun," which possibly refers to the ball at the Winter Palace. The reason they call Celene an "Empress OF FIRE" could be because she torched the Halamshiral Alienage in The Masked Empire.
