Aaliyah said the character was originally different than the one we got now. In the original script, Brandy was supposed to be snooty and stuck up. When Regina Hall auditioned for the role she didn’t know that, she just came in and made the character into the stereotypical ghetto Black girl since they were spoofing horror movies and stereotypes. The Wayans loved Regina’s audition so much that they rewrote the character based on her version.

Same thing with dodging every black women who auditioned for Charlie’s Angels, to include the rapper Eve. It’s like when a company posts job openings but they already have a scope of who they’re hiring and who they ARENT hiring.. they gotta dangle the carrot to make it look “fair.”

As far as the Rihanna and Lupita movie idea goes I will say that I believe it will happen in the future it’s just a matter of their schedules coinciding with one another as well as everyone else being involved schedules have to coincide and the budget and the production value has to be there and there has to be a studio that is willing to put the money into the production until the film and into the marketing to see it through
