Welcome to the IE! It's definitely a different feel out here. Coming from someone who grew up in LA, and moved to the IE, I think when I turned 30. I love it. And if you're in the Rancho/Upland/Claremont area, you're pretty close to a lot of things to check out. It sucks how we've got the pandemic going on right now. Else, I'd say, there are some of cute restaurants spots. But overall, yes, there's space out here. It's not super congested. Welcome, again! :)

Yes girl! I moved from Los Angeles to the IE and can say I’m absolutely loving it here! It’s the best decision my husband and I made and now we are planning to buy our first home here soon. I hope you enjoy it just as much, it’s definitely a different CALMER vibe! 🥰

Welcome to the IE! We moved here from LA in 1991 when I was a baby and it has grown so much. I feel like everybody from LA and OC is moving here cause it's more affordable but you'll love it.

I just moved too, and an upgraded apartment in a safer neighborhood makes a HUGE difference!!! It’s interesting how your mood can be improved with a “simple” change in location. I hate moving though and then also during a pandemic, but it needed to be done. 🏃🏾‍♀️ I don’t see myself moving again until I get a house either because I have a good thing where I’m at. 🥰 Good luck moving again to the bigger place. I’m sure it’ll be worth it, but back to back moving would be so stressful to me. Lol

omg I moved to the IE (upland) a year ago, and before I lived in the OC my entire life and it was a huuuuge adjustment being so far from my family but once I got adjusted, I was kind of nice being away from everyone! I love the IE it’s not as busy as oc and la! You’ll come to love it out here!!

Omg so excited for u girl!! Idk how u did it without having the central ac, washer/dryer or walk-in closets at the ur last places cuz my partner n I didn't even see places if they didn't have those...lol. But seriously glad you've upgraded after realizing what u need from an apartment but also from the community u live in. We always say we'd rather pay that higher price to have our sanity rather than living in a cheap ass place n be miserable or feel unsafe. Congratulations to u & Darius!!
