It’s crazy how you buy a new build but still have a laundry lists of upgrades to do AFTER you move in. I’m ripping out all the carpet downstairs, changing the light fixtures, doing a backsplash, getting a bench in the mud room, customizing my owners closet and adding storm doors to all the entryways. That’s just a few things to start off lol. All of this would have cost a trillion billion dollars through the builder 😫 congrats to y’all!! Beautiful!

*HOW TO CLEAN STOVE GRATES* fill sink with hot water add half cup to full cup of baking soda, place grates in water, add 1 to 2 cups of apple cider vinegar, let soak until water cools. Clean with soft abrasive sponge.

Amen to the mudroom bench!! I added one immediately after we built and moved in. My girls have adapted and will take off their shoes, put them in the cubie or basket and hang their jackets on the hook. It's a total lifesaver!! Beautiful home, can't wait to see you decorate

I love all of the choices you made at the design center and the special requests like the space for the strip lighting in the bedroom! On Cara Lanelle channel, her hubby, Rob, will film himself doing projects around the house. My husband actually like watching cuz he learns how to do those projects when we move into our home. I actually love the Normandy and Versailles. You guys are lucky to have Normandy as an option. In my area, Normandy and Versailles aren’t even available.
