Congratulations!! I also bought my house at 31 ... 36 now and it still gets exciting walking around and remembering all the emotions you had when furnishing and designing the interior space... I bought a older home and fully remodeled it just finished the last bathroom... only basement left. Best of luck to you and one thing I will say is buy a counter depth fridge that is what I did I think it looks better in the space you can always get another small freezer if you need it. ... I live alone so its enough for me even though smaller lol. Enjoy your new home and take your time... don't rush to furnish that was my biggest regret. I ended up spending a little 2 much on furnishings I didn't really like, lol 😅

Congratulations! I’ve been watching since before you started your home search so to see this happen for you is beautiful! A few notes: refrigerators tend to stick out of their casings so don’t focus too much on that! Also, a washer dryer combo can be expensive to maintain and a bit difficult to find folks to make any repairs, stick to a small form factor stackable, even if you have to get a combo 🖤 can’t wait to see how you decorate!

For the fridge either counter depth or non counter depth. Counter depth won’t go past the cabinets but they are also smaller. Normal fridge will stick out past the counter like 4-6 inches

Refrigerators usually stick out from those cabinets. The important measurements are the height and width, not so much the depth. Unless you are specifically wanting a counter depth refrigerator.
