Can't tell you how many people tried to convince us to paint it white! I'm like absolutely not! It's real wood, not the fake paneling and I LOVE it!

Ah, internally screaming for you! Such a surreal moment, I'm sure! And I love that you're embracing the wood. When I was younger, I dis-liked al the wood in my house (circa 1970's haha) but now that I'm approaching my 30s, I love it. It adds character, and gives that vintage/homey feel.

I still have to remind myself it's ours! It still doesn't feel real because we haven't moved in yet but I love working on it! Yes! I love anything that adds a little interest or character!
