hi so for the en suite bathroom you can’t make the door come out the other way... like instead of push the door u should pull it

For your bathroom door you can just switch it around so it swings open in the room instead of in the bathroom it makes it a lot more open

In your master room you could do one of those "barn door" styled doors so you don't have to mess with the electrical in that wall for a pocket door

An idea to ponder, is the wall to the left of the window, in the “tv snug room”, you could blow that out and have it go into the potential piano/study room. It would open the space and give you two separate areas but all connected.

I love your new house! In the States we call a well kept lawn a manicured lawn. If you're going to do any painting in the rooms upstairs you should do that while the old carpet is still there in case of any drips/spills. You have much to be excited about.

Yes this was my thought also! Assuming the wall in between isn't structural, it would be super easy to knock it down and open up a big space, then they could redo the whole thing. Realistically, with just two people living there, they only need one bathroom anyway, and they've got a downstairs toilet too.

Its so interesting to see the layout of this house. I live in the US/ Florida and most houses have like an open concept and don’t really have doors leading to each individual space. Its really interesting to see. I just imagine my mom yelling at me from the kitchen that the food is ready and im in the TV/ Snug room minding my own business not being able to hear her😂 ooh what a mess. But again I think its cool how different people live and needless to say the house is GORGEOUS inside and out. Congrats you guys I love your videos and im so excited for you guys!

If you’re not going to use your en suite I would recommend having that room as the guest room so they have their own bathroom. Then you have another room

I reckon a couple floating shelves up higher with a little bar type stool at that high window in that little hideaway in the bedroom would be soo good for doing your makeup in the natural light!👌🏻 and you can just switch the en-suite door to open a different way? Or get a bi-folding door fitted? You could also switch the wall that the door hangs on for the snug room or have it coming outways? Also under the stairs would be so good for creating storage like spacetidy does under stairs! This house is so so beautiful and has so much potential as well!😍🥰

An idea for your ensuite... flip the door around so the handle is on the other side and it opens into your room rather than the ensuite. Quite fix which gives the illusion of more space and doesn't take up in your mini bathroom :) Gorgeous house!

So hapy for you both the house is gorg! To solve the door issues in both the snug room and the en suite you could just change the hinges on the doors to swing the other way (we did this in my lounge to fit the TV in the corner behind where the door used to open) xx

This house is amazing! We're currently living in chaos in our first little house, renovating upstairs. We have changed the layout and the bathroom is in progress. One of the bedrooms currently has bare plaster walls that needs to be redone and we have bare floorboards through the whole of the upstairs. Can't wait to get all the messy stuff done so we can get carpets fitted. I'm already looking at bigger houses and wishing haha I would love a house like yours one day, with a big kitchen with an island that's literally my dream! *You was talking about a window seat... I think one would look great for that big window you have at the top of your stairs! Because your hallway is a decent size width wise. I can just imagine one of the slimmer window seats (I’ve seen some on Pinterest because I love them. I don’t even have my own place yet lol. But when I get one I want a cute reading nook and when I was looking into it I saw a lot of window seats as an option!) with lots of cute decorative throw pillows and even a nice blanket! Just a thought. Plus it adds decoration to a room most people don’t normally do much to (hallways) doesn’t it. You could probably make one yourself pretty cheap from wood if you are good at that, or if you know someone that is.*

For the en suite door you could get a door that’s like a normal sized one but it’s two half doors that open towards you if that makes sense? That way they don’t take up much room because they’re half sized and they open outwards so you don’t have to move round them once inside the en suite. My grandparents have this kind of door for their tiny downstairs toilet and it works perfectly! They also look super pretty 💖

Love it! If you still want the bench under the window, upstairs on the landing would be an amazing spot, if you moved the glass outward, and made it into a octagon shape or something, you would create the space for a bench, would look amazing, and you get a good view of the garden

I'm loving this house tour! It's such a perfect home for you two. The piano room is stunning! I'm totally team window bench ;) Would you consider removing the door from the snug room since you most likely won't have a need to close it? That way the door won't get in the way of your floor plans. Better yet, you could remove that entire wall and have a nice open archway. Pinterest has so many great ideas for under stairs. I'm really into your ideas for rearranging the kitchen and adding a three-season room. I'm also on team banister! It will be so nice to open up that staircase. It will give it a whole new feel! This house is amazing! You guys do such good jobs with renovations and lovely houses I’m sure you’ll do great! I think if it was mines, I would have like “Milas bedroom” in the space under the stairs with little fairy lights and a sign with a bed and maybe a basket for toys! But I am definitely a dogless crazy dog lady 😂😂 I’d also be tempted to make the en-suite the guest room, because if you’re going to use the big bathroom anyway then it’s a nice touch if someone comes to stay that they have their own bathroom 🥰 Wishing you much happiness in your new home!

AAAAHHHHH the house is AMAZING!!! For your ensuite, why not get a bi-fold wooden door? You don't need room in the walls to the side like you do with a sliding door but the door folds out of the way and won't be so much of a problem :) Can't wait to see how you decorate and style the house. Particularly excited to see what you end up doing with the stairs and banister. Having open spindles and banister will make it look so big and grand 😍
