Bosch is top of the line, keep those! That’s what I hope to eventually upgrade to. We have 1,238 sq ft house and our laundry room is included in that, on a slab without a basement. lol Absolutely love the back yard! I can’t wait to see y’all make that house into a home. Congratulations on everything. I lucked out with our houses previous owners. They cleaned the house spotless before we moved in. I was 8 months pregnant and beyond thankful they did that for me. We barely unpacked before we had our son. Now it’s been 2 yrs and we’ve finally made headway on our remodel. We’ve been living without baseboards or trim for over a year. And we still have the all green master bedroom walls and carpet. 😂 I can’t wait to change that.

You could put the stove /oven in the island as well as one of those drawer microwaves and then you could put the fridge where that is currently!

Since even the bedrooms have hard wood floors, you may have hardwood under your living room carpet. When you pull up the closet carpet, you may find hardwood. House is beautiful!

I live in Germany in the area were Bosch is located and that is an excellent company! We also have a Bosch dryer and I love it! Keep the washer and dryer! 😊

Bosch are top of the brand....we invested and bought all bosch..like washing machine, dryer, oven, hob, dishwasher...even digester. All work perfectly for over 10 years...Make your basement very cozy and bright and you wont be scare go downstairs anymore.

I love my Bosch dishwasher it automatically opens when it’s done to let the steam out and air dry the dishes the rest of the way. Kami is your washer and dryer front load? I need new W&D and I’m definitely researching before I buy this time.

just got onto yr channel very good i’d save yr money 💰 and not change the floors or get rid of the washer and dryers i’d put yr money 💰 into finishing the basement for a lounge room and majority of toys and art room for the family more use out of the basement being finished just my opinion new mantra coming out make do use up do without having kids and getting a house there are always bills and money to be paid and managed all the best great 👍 job your doing like yr organising skills cheers 🥂

Bosch is an excellent brand! I have front loading washer/dryer. I like them but don't love them. The dryer is fine, but the washer we have to leave the door open after washing clothes to let it air out. If I shut the door it gets very musty smelling!!! But it does a good job. Just make sure to let it air out! Congrats on the baby and the new home!!!!

I would do an orange accent wall. Or maybe paint the closet Orange so it’s not an eye sore in the room. I was pregnant during the major part of the pandemic last year, the doctor kept asking are you short of breath, uh yea I’m pregnant 😂.

If you can keep your hardwood in the living room, I would recommend it. You probably have hardwood under that carpet which would look so nice!! Grats on finding a home and a new baby on the way...so exciting!!

We have that exact washer and dryer! We’ve had them for 15 years and have never had any problems. We’ve never had any problems with it smelling, like other front load washers. Everyone is amazed at how long we’ve had these. The washer just started to give my problems.. the start button didn’t start right away so we ordered another washer in case it died (knowing that it might take over 2 months to arrive). But it’s been 4 months since then and it’s working fine again and our new washer is just sitting in our garage 😖. We love our Bosch, so we decided to stick with that brand. Be sure to keep the door open after washing. 👍🏼

Congratulations on your new home. I LOOOVE the back yard. Bosh is an amazing brand, not cheap either. And front loaders in my opinion are the best just keep the door for washer open always and remember to clean both washer and dryer on a regular basis. You should also check out their plate top stove. It is children friendly and super easy to clean.

Basement laundry is not so bad...once it finished it'll be brighter and won't have that 'dank, damp, & dark' cramped feeling. You might also consider getting an all in one dryer & washer like your fellow you tuber Katherine May? Maybe?

Congrats on your new home! I know you must be over the top ecstatic to be out of your apartment! Your home layout is almost identical to mine. I would wait until your bathroom and kitchen projects are done to finish the basement. It would allow for easy access to redo plumbing and electric for all of the projects you’re planning to do. I don’t have any experience with a front loader washer/dryer. I’ve heard the washer door can get mold inside if you’re not careful.

I was always scared lol I would run back up the stairs like someone was chasing me. Even when I was an older teen. It’s totally irrational but there is just something creepy about unfinished basements lol

You could do racecar theme, or basketball depending on what he likes. When my oldest was little my ex-husband painted a huge basketball on my son's wall and made his wood floors look like a court with duck tape. It was by far my favorite theme he has done.
