Congrats girl! The second light switch next to the one for the bar lights should be connected to an outlet in the living room and should work as a “lamp switch”, but of course you can plug anything into it and you’ll just need to flip the switch on for it to work. Hope this helps!!

May I ask how did u get an apartment. Meaning did u had to make sure u found a job before applying for apartments to like show proof of income? I’m moving to Houston either August and September and I’m starting the process of looking for jobs before I start applying so I can show them I will be having income. Is that something I need to do or is that something they are looking for to accept us? Sorry this is my first time getting my own place and I just want everything to go smoothly

If you have an offer letter from you job most place will use that after verifying employment or you can get a letter directly from HR stating what you’ll be making if you don’t have an offer letter to show.
