I'm so glad you did decide to do the empties video in the end! I always find it's a really true reflection of what people like (or what they want to get rid of haha). I've wanted to try the First Aid Radiance Pads for ages - must save the pennies! x

I love empties videos - I think we're so overwhelmed with product recommendations sometimes due to how frequently things launch that it's nice to get a fully informed review of a product someone has used up to the very end

I swear by the Toni & Guy dry shampoo. In second day hair, I apply at the roots in small sections all over the scalp, leave for a couple of minutes, massage in and brush through. Then repeat on third day and even fourth day. It's amazing.

I find that with pumps like the one on the Charlotte Tilbury makeup remover, it's best to pump by pushing the sides. Not in the middle! When you push the middle, you are blocking the opening thus the reason why it squirts all over the place and make a mess.

I am German, so I do know the Kaufmanns Kindercreme. However: The best product for lips I have ever tried is another German invention: the Everon Stick by Weleda. It also forms a soothing protective layer on the lips as the Kindercreme minus the mass of irritating essential oils. I converted all my friends to this...

Ooh, I'm hardly ever here before 301+ views, yay! I really love empties videos as I feel like you're able to give a much more in-depth review of the products seeing as you've used them up entirely. I'm a massive fan of the Emma Hardie cleanser, although my packaging broke quite easily! x

I confirm that these kind of nail polish remover pots are very bad for nails (and skin) : they work so well because the product inside is so harsh, and lots of girls experimented you nails problems after using this.

Hello Lily, With regards to the Charlotte Tilbury pump, I agree. It reminds me of the Bioderma pump which sprays everywhere which can be annoying at times. I think I'll go back to the normal Bioderma bottle.

If you still want a convenient nail polish remover, you can buy little discs presoaked in cotton wool that you swipe across your nails. I buy them from Tesco (they come in a tiny bright pink tub that looks a bit like a compact mirror), very useful for travelling and they have an oil in them as well so they don't seem to dry out my nails and they moisturise my cuticles a bit too. Please keep posting these!:)

I've had some trouble with my nails becoming quite dry & brittle. And I've been having a love affair with the similar style Sephora pots! Maybe that's the problem. That, and nail polish doesn't last 24 hours on me before it chips...probably because I'm a vet and constantly washing my hands...
@critK9doc9 жыл бұрын
Thanks for taking the time to review these products...seeing what you actually go through, considering how much skincare etc to which you have access, really puts a pretty solid stamp of approval on them! Got one spare bottle of Bioderma to go, but after that one I think I'll have a go with the La Roche Posay one. I really like their products. Have you had any experience using Institut Esthederm's sun care? I'm very curious about it. Thought I'd ask, because we seem to have rather similar taste and skin type. Thanks.
