The visuals for empyerian are overall better but project's sound effects (especially the laugh) are unmatched and the project w is honestly my singular favorite skin feature in the game

Whole empyreans skin line was really boring to me cuz riot got really lazy with world building and design left every thing "fire, rainbow, daft punk and black guys hop in other universes to do shit" on another hand project had cyberpunk style with cool mecha costumes in world where are no one is good and everyone is trying to survive

This might be controversial opinion but hear me out- Both are very cool. BUT IMO Empyerian works better with Pyke then Project. The VFX do a way better job in making it feel like a legendary. Ofc Project has much better sound effects then empyerian but if you look at them serperatly I think most people would go for Empyerian because empyerian has a way better storytelling of pyke being the traveler of the universes. Stuck with no universe of his own... Still Both are amazing and whichever one you choose is of course your own opinion! 😊
