it didn't happen, and won't happen since you kinda refill scarab's market with this strat. so barrel scarabs won't increase too much in price since there are tons of them in the market.

3:31, there are rare mobs that when killed they drop scarabs, these ignore your atlas modifiers. i had Unwavering Vision allocated and still dropped scarabs.

I am so happy I went with a scarab tree to complete the atlas with. Some of the mods from the league, coupled with a few other league mechanics can be reaaaal riptastic. But with back to basics it felt so much safer to clear maps for progression. And the scarabs in the bank really got me going when it came to the big boi farming. Been playing ice trap of hollowness trickster and when I switched to harb/ess/boxes, I made like 50d in 2 days playing casually. (While afking in osrs).

I ran a similar strat couple of days ago. Instead of taking all of the scarab travel nodes went with full spec in league mechanic and chance for higher tier maps. I ran double cartography, 1 duplication and one ascencion. In 40 maps I got myself over a 100 cemeteries, tons of corpses and allflames as well as 15-20 t17 maps. I loved the strat definitely doing again, will try your version as well

Cool to see you doing some stuff that relatable to 99% of the community. Your deli scarab dropped from a conversion rare I would assume. They ignore the node and altars that drop specific scarabs ignore the node. Like Blue altars can roll blight scarabs and they will still drop blocked.

Cool strat. A notice to new players seeing this: you should be very careful reading the map mods because the increased effect can wreck your build even if its very good. For example, 60% reduced recovery of X mod, with a full effect tree, becomes ~100%.

Hello, could I ask why did you decide to block Expedition, Abyss and Delirium (scarabs as I understand) from dropping? Are they very cheap hence not worth collecting or is there some any other reason? I suppose you want to boost other content sextants, hence I ask if the ones you've blocked are not worth the bother? Thanks for doing these Empy. My go to money making used to be Heist with all the Alt quality gems, but once that got changed I've been kind of jumping between mechanics, and curious what works well and what doesn't. Going to set up a barrels atlas when I get home for some easy, laid back farming.

@@TwoWayOrbitalStation Mine is pretty quick. I'm doing Deadeye Transfigured Ele Hit, and bought a HH on the day before the Allflames got patched. It's been a lot fo fun so far to just strictly map and not have to worry about doing a league mechanic. I'm noticing that Harbi's are also actually add quite a bit to scarab drops when I get the Devoted node of "accompanied by a Harbinger".

I think you're very generous with your evaluations and in another of these you converted C>D>C>D which introduces a lot of uncertainty. you should hedge more conservative and calc C and D separately before converting+ once at the end. imho. anyways really enjoyed this series - thanks!!

Isnt the "map gain" nodes pretty useless as its only one monster has higher chance to drop 1 connected map. When that has happened it doesnt do anything :/

I never include trading time to keep these numbers for the strats consistent. If you want to, feel free to add your trading time and modify the numbers for yourself. I usually farm for a week or so and then do a trading session when i bulk sell everything in 4-5 hours. (Usually after 40-50 hours of farming). So in my case you can add 20 minute trading time.

If you can do the investment i reccomend looking into pandemonium + 2x map dupe + destructing play atlas tree to farm t17's. Selling in bulk on tft is very profitable. And yeah you def need 4 watchstones

My problem with scarabs is that only a dozen or so of them are worth anything at all. I sold off my big ticket drops, and can't sell the rest in bulk (about 25div at ninja price), even at 50% of ninja price on TFT. No one cares, so even though ninja says theyre worth 2-3c, they're actually worthless. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Probrably not ocmpletely accurate since maps have Devoted mods from Necropolis. I would shave some 15% of the profit considering that. Otherwise, it looks relaxing not having to deal with League mechanics for a session.

Welp t17 mods blew this up quick lol It's crazy how every single tiny strat is being inflated and it's just week 3. That rogue exile exploit really tipped the scales for the rest of this league. Luckily this tree and strat works great with no scarabs

Noticed that the node that gives you 20 skillpoints but stops any scarabs from being dropped doesnt stop them from being droped

All of These stop from dropping nodes removes them from the base drop pools, which means there is still a shitton of Places which drop them, which is why the Block nodes are basically useless as well
