rewatch the video then... It's something about just marketing, there's no need to believe that there are some super special and expensive blades, ZJK is demonstrating that his blades did not have any special codes or anything that would make the blades any different.

An interesting point he made is that the fishscale blade is worth more, but he would not choose a blade which had non-uniform pattern.

I worked with Japanese years ago and my engeneering formation whas with Japaneses quality standard. The Japanese quality system NEVER let a mistake go to customer. So, in my opinion, if you see a Butterfly product on "aliexpress" or black market, dont buy it. Chinese are the king of copying. I see that myself when i worked in industry with China. Our factory whas construct in double. Our factory and their factory. The fake products with another name was just beside. No quality control, no parts number listing...incredible different philosophy. They don't undurstand the concept of producing quality management. Maybe today it have change a bit...I hope!

Sometimes sports equipment manufacturers are the deterrent to people playing the sport. If people believe that they have to buy expensive equipment to play the sport, and they can’t afford it then why play it? TT should be for everyone. Rich people can go play golf.

I have a question for the backhand stroke. Which part of the arm is leading/beginning the movement? Is it the wrist and then i guide/follow through with the ball or is it the opposite i start guiding the ball and add the wrist or is it the two at the same time? I would appreciate it if you give me an answer or recommend a video you have on the topic. Thanks in advance

Thera are blades for all levels.. when you just start you play with 40$ when you learnd something you play with 100, when you learn all basic stuff you can buy 300$.. and belive me it is much better and means a lot.. good rubera and good blade are very important.. even new rubbers.. but i cant buy every 6 month to 1 year new pair of dignics.. too expensive.. so when you learn everything basics( serve, return, fh and bh topspin, push, bloks, smash and you traind for 2 years and played 100 tournaments (2 years) you can buy it and you will feel it

So the player which had always played with blades provided by butterfly personally for him and never tried any blade "with code", says that he never cared about those codes and never seen them before. Well, ok, I can take that. But it doesn't prove that those codes doesn't make difference. Maybe it doesn't matter, but maybe it matters a lot, he simply never tried.

This is not an accurate representation on what Zhang Ji Ke said. 1. he used to play with regular blades 2. he is saying people who justify the price of the K blade because ZJK uses it are wrong. 3. After all that you might be right nonetheless, that the K blade is special. But on what basis? (Not because it is ZJK's)

I would like to know more about what professionals look for when choosing a blade. the uniformness of the grains in the wood is very interesting aspect because I bought a cheap Sanwei 75 Inner blade and the top koto layer had many different patterns, some fine grained and some much wider distances between the patterns. My favorite Avalox all wood blade also has koto top layer and the patterns are much more uniform on it!

Not much real information here. It should be common knowledge that the pro's all get highly specialized and hand picked and assembled equipment. You're not buying that level of quality from any over the counter vendor. The "scales" thing to me just looks like possible very well quarter sawn wood....which may look great as a top veneer, but has little impact on playability, especially for the average player. It just looks pretty. Not worth a lot of extra money. Just ask any seasoned guitar player, pretty doesn't make it perform better. 😅

Training for a tournament requires a different approach compared to regular practice. To optimize your preparation, consider these questions: 1. What is your mood during training? Do you play freely with an open mind, without the fear of losing? 2. Are you practicing tournament-relevant skills? Are you honing skills that can be effectively used under the pressure of a tournament? 3. How seriously are you taking your training? Are you fully attentive to your coach's instructions and applying their teachings diligently? 4. Are you using practical techniques? Are you practicing techniques that you can realistically apply during tournaments, avoiding overly complicated ones? To be effective in tournaments, you need to bring the same level of seriousness to your training as you do to the competition. Ask yourself: "Can I use these strokes both in training and during tournaments?" Winning a tournament requires a deep understanding of your strengths and weaknesses. Use your strengths to exploit your opponent's weaknesses. By knowing yourself better, you can improve your performance in tournaments.

I'm the same way. It's most definitely serve receive from the technical side. Training with a care free yet focused mind is not the same as in a game where there is consequences to every mistake. Often time when we train the balls are coming so frequently and fast that we hardly care about mistakes. In a game, it hurts. Every one also has different serves with different types and amounts of spin. You've probably caught on to your training partners serves but strangers require on the fly adjustment. A lot of my underspin serve receives against people I've never played initially go over the table or into the very. However if i stick with it, i can adjust by the 2nd game and begin to return with much higher frequency and stability. If your caught off guard in a tournament by the sting of losing a point, realize you'll just have to lose a few to adjust. Or work on alternate strategies so you have a plan b. I find that if i don't come prepared these tournaments can be very daunting.

@@ManuB3581 at 2:15 you can see that his Viscaria has an old round icon on the handle, which means that the blade is more than 10 years old, that is, the blade itself does not age, as he said.
