Cool pattern, it's got a nice flow to it. Think I may have to learn that. 5 STARZ! Shower in both directions....Uggggh

You make great tutorials, Al ! The most important thing is to understand how the pattern works and then just practise it. I find your videos extremely helpful, thank you :)

The pattern where two balls move up and down in columns with the thrid ball being slammed down over them is called Lukes Shuffle. For the record I (Luke Jugglestruck/Gravett) invented it in 1991 and showed it To Charlie Dancey who included it in his book on three ball juggling.

Nice tut, remember when I learned this, loved it. Hmm, I thought boston shuffle was something else, I thought thats called slams whereas boston shuffle is box with the bottom throw different. Hmm, I could just know it by another name.
@RuudVanPistolrooy15 жыл бұрын
Nice tutorial. Any idea what the version of this juggle is called where every single throw is a slam? I've been working on it a while, but not seem any vids up for it. It's hard as hell and was looking for some tips! Cheers

You actually do the base trick but about the felling I had watching you doing this trick, I think you still have work to do in the artistic part before being able to teach it. You gotta master it so much that it will look smooth anf amazing. Sorry if you don't share my point.. but juggling is all about the felling it give to the people that are watching you, isn't it?
@bloonmasterjuggling13 жыл бұрын
@RuudVanPistolrooy oh I think it's the "drop box" or "luke's shuffle"

I think it might be called Luke's Shuffle. I don't know for definite though. Not sure if it even has an 'official' name.

I believe Slams are an alternative name to the full Shuffle.

Try twjc, they name a lotta tricks, I think boston shuffle is box with a slam throw on the side instead of a normal "1". *shrugs*
@Jahjahcob11 жыл бұрын
is like a box, every throw is a colums and then do the slam, its a different kind of box
@TheBiggestOfAls16 жыл бұрын
Luke's Shuffle is different and a much faster pattern, from what I've seen.
@TheBiggestOfAls15 жыл бұрын
The version where every throw from one hand is a slam is just called the shuffle. I don't think it's possible to have every throw from both hands as a slam.
@RuudVanPistolrooy15 жыл бұрын
Yeah sorry my explanation was a bit off there. Its two simultaneous throws like a box on one side , then the same one the other. Looks like a box pattern but with the ball that would normally go across the bottom doing a figure of 8 around the two columns. I'm probably not doing a very good job of describing it here :)
@Voltagraphy16 жыл бұрын
So where do I learn the box?
@mByyurt13 жыл бұрын
It's siteswap is the same as the box, am i right?
