I'm taking microbiology right now and everytime we look at bacteria under the microscope I say "Aww! Look at the little guys!" And my classmates are like "Those aren't little guys it's E. coli" and I'm like "No it's just a little guy!"
@boyinblue.11 күн бұрын
But they literally are little guys, "little guy" is a gender (and species) neutral term for Any tiny living thing. A gremlin kitten is a little guy so I think Ecoli is a little guy too!

I love it all, especially the mouse one. The sky looked beautiful. I think the mushroom could have been a cute character too if he had a face! I know the feeling of making art you’re unhappy with. But sometimes you need time and space away from it, and you come back and wonder why you were so hard on yourself because it looks just fine 💜

The first drawing was very reminiscing of the artist Moebius, I find. Anyway, it's courageous of you to persevere through art block and to keep on producing videos. Even though nowadays artists, especially on KZbin have the constant pressure to come up with original ideas, it is still an undertaking to come up with all this content while being burnt out. Thanks for all of your efforts and take care!

With regards to the little tools you use to last down the pan pastels, they're the same as eye shadow sponge applicators. They do fall to pieces quite easily. It's just how they're tiny and mass manufactured, I guess. You could potentially find bulk packs of those in a sponge quality that works for you. (Apologies if you already know this. It's the first video of yours that I've seen) I really like layering pencils over alcohol markers, but there was something missing - the pastels could be that. Thank you for sharing.

I love the mouse staring at the moon, and the glowing mushroom (is the little guy getting high on the glow? I mean, who could blame him), and of course, always love the Raisin color (those murky greens, though - they're beautiful). Have you tried using one of those cans of air like they use for cleaning keyboards to blow eraser crumbs off the pan pastels without smearing? Might work.
@creativesolutionsart-h3o11 күн бұрын
Sometimes it’s really hard to get back into the groove of things… This whole month has felt very much like what you’ve described!😔🤨 Those pan pastel tools can be a real pain… I feel like I need to glue them on sometimes because they just slide right off while I’m using them! Lol I got some long handled eyeshadow applicators like a pack of 50 of them or something on Amazon. They work pretty good especially for small drawings and smaller details.… I tend to reserve the pan pastel tools, especially the big sponge one, for doing larger areas. The ones that look like little pallet knives, I just block in shapes with those and then I don’t really use them for Anything else. And they are unnecessarily expensive!😉
@emrouleauart9 күн бұрын
Yeah I feel like for the price they should be way better quality? Totally agree. I'll check out those makeup applicators 😁

Don't quote me, but I believe that without the plastic, the eraser rubber would just kinda stick, bend and break and wouldn't 'click up' when you pressed the end. Idk if this helps you at all, but whilst I do have one of those Tombow erasers I also bought an electric one and they go SO FAR - no extra plastic and mine came with a tonne of eraser nibs too!

@emrouleauart I hear you, girlfriend. My advice is to make the majority of your food anti-inflammatory foods. You can google a list. Roast chicken is also anti-inflammatory, which I don't think is on the lists. Power houses foods are Non farmed salmon sardines, tuna; oily fish. Olive oil, avocado, Green vegetables of any kind. Spices and herbs. Pumkin and sweet potato. Berries, nuts, and seeds. Pre and pro biotics. Nutritional yeast; lots of b1. Magnesium B12.. all b vitamins Vd3.. get 20 mins of sun a day. *Turmeric latte, freshly made; freshly grated 1 tblspn turmeric and 1 tspn ginger, 1 cup almond milk with no seed oils, or raw milk; don't use oat milks or highly processed milks if you can, 1/4 tspn cinnamon, 1/4 tspn nutmeg, vanilla extract, star anise, cracked black pepper; 3 turns, low simmer on low heat for 6 to 8 minds. Strain through a tea sieve into a cup. Add maple syrup to taste. Once a day. I make 2 to 4 batch serves and store in the fridge after putting the batch through a tea sieve. Just gently reheat it. It's a poer house. I have done this all, and I still, in the majority, eat anti-inflammatory foods. It majority helped and helps, Em. Bread, pasta, legumes, grains meat, eggs, dairy, chocolate, sweets are ok, but don't make them a large percentage of you daily nutrion or the inflamation won't go down. For example, I ate 2 eggs with 1/3 to half cup of any grain; quinoa, rice, or 1 slice of toast, and a large veggies salad with olive oil and lemon juice or and apple cider vinegar as a dressing. Sauerkraut on top of the eggs. The veggies, and dressing are the majority. Also, Sauerkraut has probiotics in it. If you freeze your bread first, you have double starch which is resistant starch, which is another healer. Google resistant starch if your not aware. Grab a good quality roast chicken and make a veggies and chicken soup. People find breakfast the hardest to eat anit inflammatory. Rest is important also. No pressure of course. I'm just sharing just in case it's helpful. My GP said the research is showing that illness shows that somewhere in the body, there's inflamation. It worked for me. 🤗
