Hey ‘Em love your bicester videos. Btw I had the same dilemma about Chanel classic old vs new. I agree quality in the old Chanels (like everything is better) and has the 24k gold hardware, but like you I can’t justify buying a battered bag for $$$$. So, last December I got myself a medium black classic flap from the store. I don’t like dents and scratches in my bag so vintage route wasn’t for me.

Thanks for watching lovely!!! I bought some good stuff at Christmas as presents from Burberry and then just bought myself a new YSL bag and Coach bag a week ago {will film an unboxing this week to show what I got!} so to be honest couldn't really justify buying anything as i've spent so much lately! I don't like to buy things just for the sake of it! I liked a lot of stuff but none of it I NEEDED, if that makes sense? I probably should have got the wooden YSL bag for Summer and I would have if I didn't just buy *two* new bags ooops... or the Dior boots I wanted them all but they either didn't have my size or they were still £800, and I have a crack in my wall to repair which is the price of a Chanel bag haha - gutted! I used to live in Montreal and my ex was in Toronto so i loved visiting, I found Simons malls in the US which are kinda similar, the one at Woodbury common was good! The Dior was REALLY good but all the shoes were still £850 or not in my size so again, couldn't justify it! ❤️

The girls in the store were 100% right about the chanel bags. The older it is, the better quality and better made it is. The hardware tends to be plated in 24k gold and doesn't tarnish. Also, if you found your dream pre-loved chanel and it was too "battered"...you could always snap it up if its well priced and take it to chanel for repairs. That way, the price evens out but you get a better bag.
