Soooo.....status epilepticus, AAOS say 30 mins, you say 5 minutes. Whats the test say? I will go with 5 mins. Lots of discrepancies I am finding with AAOS!

I think that is a good call to go for the 5 minutes. There are sources out there that say 30 minutes but most recent sources and the epilepsy foundation say 5 minutes. 5 minutes is a long time to seize without some intervention to stop it (benzos or calling ALS to get benzos). Don't forget two seizures without the patient gaining full responsiveness between is also status epillepticus.
