Great race and loved that 2nd uphill stage especially cleaning the whole stage without a foot down thanks to but of extra power from the race motor

This looks so good. I did the Sunday race on ebike my first time there and totally blind runs. really loved it, even the mud and running water was fun.. I came 4th.. Im tempted to do this one thou next year after your vid...as i liked the food station haha

I’m terrible at directions and missed a few of the check in points But still had a good day Dabbed on both no foot sections down to using turbo and first gear They were a good test of ebike skills which I need to learn 😂

Mint channel mate, watched loads of your vids today. I saw on an early video that you thought your mates kenevo sl was best e-bike you’ve ridden but you bought an orbea wild. Was it for the bigger battery?

@@PinnedTV Ah Gotya . I’ve got an Orbea wild 2021 , I’m keeping it but looking for something else a bit lighter . Originally was just going buy a 2023 Orbea rise m10 but the new gen 2 Levo sl looks good. The 2023 wild you have I’ve heard is much better than the one I have - stiffer frame and a fair bit lighter. I’m now considering that too. There’s a lot of lighter (sl) weight e bikes released lately which makes it hard to decide which to go for.

I have to say Jim I was disappointed by the emtb event. We were asked if we wanted to swap onto it and naively thought it was the same as the main event, just for Eebs. As such massively disappointed to find we only rode 3 of the full stages. If it was a stand alone event outside of Ard rock I think we would’ve enjoyed it. But left short changed. The lunch was epic mind. Think next time we will switch back to manuals and ride the normal enduro again.

@@PinnedTV I think that’s why we were disappointed. We’ve done Ard Rock loads. So we were not expecting what we actually got. Spoke to a fair few riders who felt the same. It wasn’t a bad event at all, in fact it would’ve been great. Just the disappointment when we expected it to be something different. Glad you enjoyed it, I’m sure Ard Rock will develop it into something very special. Just I’ll be heading back on a manual in the main event and suffer the cramping in my old legs!
