Great course! Using the base waves rather than standard Rom sounds really let's you hear all the changes made per control. Layering complex rom sounds for me is a much more difficult starting position for sound design.

Have you ever tried using the mp7 with a external keyboard, like how the mophatt is used?

the tempo based envelopes/LFO's/delay (=>35:40) are the secret weapon of the CS, setting it apart from the EMU samplers - and from the great deal of contemporary gear too // it's a pity they didn't extend that to the glide rate

Do you mean that the GLIDE rate is not able to be tempo locked?
