I love this frontend! I don't use anything else anymore! It's perfect on my RP3+. I'm kinda pissed my Odin isn't supported.

The original Odin isn't supported, it's stuck on Android 10. I checked out their requirements, even tried to install it, I can't. @@Techcravers

I wanted to love ES. I have a massive rom library and the simple inability to specify an already established rom folder is a no go for me. It’s sloppy programming and nowhere near as flexible as other options. Heck, if you even have a rom folder capitalized instead of lower case it won’t recognize it.

Yeah it may not be perfect and there is room for improvement, but if you setup an as card with ES you can use that every time you change device. I actually enjoy setting everything up!

thats valid but cant you just transfer the files over? or rename the folder names to work with ES? its time consuming sure but its not difficult

How do you get it to not scan every PS1 files or roms with multiple files, this thing is pretty dumb.

Your issue sounds like a simple cut and paste with your favorite file manager. I use FX explorer from the play store. ES-DE still didn't do it for me because it can't integrate redream or drastic. For this reason I've always stuck with Arc Browser. When you downgrade to a version of those apks before scope storage Arc Browser works perfectly

hey one question! how does synchronizing new games work with emulationstation? i really like Daijisho,,, BUT every time i want to synchronize a game, the whole library synchronizes,,, its so damn annoying

Depends on what you mean by synchronizing. The games show up instantly, but if you want artwork you need to scrape manually (like I do in this video). But you can choose to only scrape games that haven’t already been scraped.

How do I deal with roms with loose files like PS1, this dumb shit scanned every single items.

It's freaking hard to find the best frontend today, tried all of them, and has their own flaws, 1 daijisho cannot play every emulator out there, and has the worst scraper. 2 beacon has no search feature lol, and cannot load pico8 games. 3. This EmulationStation cannot even use both sdcard and internal at the same time. I think im gonna try pegasus soon.
