Anyone can secure a kill but when the kill was meant for someone else and you took it, it will be a kill steal. This is most applicable during an ace when it was supposed to be a pentakill. However, supports will always be in a position to steal a kill because of the game mechanic so what is this caster talking about? I mean, why would they call it the support role if supports were to secure the kills anyway. “Secure” may be a better term than “steal” because of its positive connotation. Nonetheless, it will be a steal when the kill was stolen whether intentionally or by accident.

Pretty sure they meant it as more of a joke. It's been a long time league joke that "im not kill stealing, im kill securing" when everyone knows its just a kill steal. Don't know if u had to go so hard on the subject lol

It's like playing neutral in a fighting game. Respecting the opponents engage potential and positioning while trying to maximize ur own. Playing around vision and wave management to try and secure a better team fight for major objectives like baron or dragon
